Do you know what "WIP" (not VIP) means? WIP = Work In Progress. He IS working on the game. And he shows some of the results.

Considering how far from one another the updates are, and how little content add each one, I assume this is a very secondary project for the dev, so I wouldn't expect a lot from this project unless you are willing to sit for several years.
