I tried this, and it worked. I updated v8 with creack from main page. Now it shows that it's v9 EXTRA version, buuut some extra content is still blocked.
I tried first conversation with Sophie , and choosing "extra contet" I get message that it needs activation.
I tried calling to Ruth, and there was no problem with choosing "extra contet".
So... crack still needed.

Well, it is the "update code" not "activation code". Those are different things. Also, v9.02 update is actually for the "extra version" as v9.00 extra is bugged and has crashing issues.
