A lot of the assets from the game are pretty old, so they don't naturally fit to characters (its annoying I know). You have three options, I'll explain them each (Option 3 is probably your best bet):

1) what you're doing in that image – Daz studio has a native autofit script, and if you just select "genesis 2 female" for "what figure was the item orignally designed for," then "hair" for "what type of item is it," it should fit to your figure's head.
There's a couple problems with this option. Autofit is not always the best, and it might mess up how the hair is placed on the figure's head, and it also messes up the hair's bones/nodes (These are the things that allow you to pose and move different parts of the hair independently). If you do this, you might notice Caroline's hair bend in a weird way, or not be able to be posed properly. By and large, I would suggest NOT doing this.

2) Download a script – You can probably buy a script that converts the hair to genesis 3 without messing up the bones. I know Riversoft Art sells scripts that allow you to convert genesis 3 characters and clothes to genesis 8 and vice versa, but I'm not sure about hair. Obviously, the main downside of this option is that you have to find it, buy it, and then learn how to run the script. This is better than option 1, but still not great

3) The most common and useful workaround is to load your hair into the scene without fitting it to any figure. All you have to do is make sure nothing in your scene is selected, then load the hair in. If you already loaded the hair into the scene, you can right click on the hair, select "fit to.." then select "none". Then make sure the figure is in 0 pose (i.e. the T-pose it comes loaded in as). Then move the hair to the position on the figure that looks correct. Then parent the hair to the head. You can parent the hair to the head by going to the scene tab, then either dragging and dropping the hair on top of the "head" node, or by right clicking the hair and selecting "parent to" then scrolling to the head. This will make the hair move around with the rest of your figure's head when you pose the figure.

Let me know if that all makes sense. Again, I would suggest trying option 3 :)
You can also parent the hair to a character's head after you load it separately into the scene. With Caroline's hair (don't remember what it's called) you have to do it this way, because none of the sliders work if you fit it to the character.

Not going to get in a big argument with everybody over AI. I may disagree with it myself but if you want to use it that's fine but can we at least get back to where we post characters from MILFY City here and not any character that we feel like sticking in here. That's what this thread was created for. And I hate to see it get cluttered up with all of this other stuff that's being put in here now. I do not intend to cause trouble but if it continues I will move on and stop coming here to this thread.

i read that with KlingAi, you can get boobs if you have a cross in the image for some reason. I thought it was a joke but actually seems to work!
Put a cross necklace on her an see what it lets you do!

from a user on civitai who posts Kling nudes

I've already mostly moved on from this thread.
The AI in this section is offputting.
Here's an oldie of mine. Lets get back to this please... Linda Jacko.jpg

Glad you stepped back in!
What's the matter with more options? i haven't posted any AI art yet but i appreciate it as another tool.
Personally i think there's room for reinterpretation via AI but to each his own.

In fact, i think the ART is what is holding back most of these games like MC and many of them never get completed because the creator gets burned out.
I see AI as a way to actually help move more games along to completion an would have no problems with a version of MC being completely recreated with AI art.

AI art is uninspired lazy and all looks the same. And it's trained on our works without consent or compensation.
I hate Generative AI with a passion.
Since AI slop appeared on scene I haven't had much commission work anymore.
AI replaces us with worse art.
What will happen when the hunger for training data exceeds the material available? After artists have lost jobs and homes?
Generative AI is not the way forward for Art. I see it as a huge step backward.
Every piece I make has been carefully composed down to details of where background elements are placed.
And AI doesn't allow any kind of control or continuity for sequential work.

Here's another piece from a while ago. This was also posed and tweaked down to the millimeter. And the lights were placed pixel perfect to accentuate just the right places and curves of Carolines shape. Caroline Stiletto lounger.jpg

The fact that you have lost business sucks, i feel for you. My industry has changed rapidly in the last decade and with AI even more so. A lot of guys similar to me have been replaced or had to move on.
Mechanical engineering used to require a lot more manpower, now with virtual testing and AI, 95% of the work is done virtually and iterations are so much faster without having to build so many physical prototypes.
That means that not only did engineers lose their jobs, but the people whose job it was to assemble prototypes their work was drastically cut down. However the ones who were able to pivot and adapt could actually thrive in the environment. As Side benefit is that the cost of entry into the market as a supplier/designer has been reduced so that smaller companies can actually compete with the bigger guys.

I had to adapt or die in the industry.
It sucks i get it, i can complain about it or try to stay ahead of it. I'm sure the wagon wheel makers really hated seeing more cars on the streets and wished that people would use horses forever.

All the complaints about consistency or continuity between images and videos will soon be a moot argument in 6-12 months, maybe less at the rapid pace things are moving. AI vids are making RAPID advances week on week. Also keep in mind that we are only seeing 2d video, we might soon start seeing 3d models and video with AI because 3d AI model generation is a thing, so i imagine videos will be able to understand relative positioning and 3 dimensions.

For you, you are correct that the training is based off of prior work but if you really wanted to work with it you could train your own checkpoint or Lora based on your content and be able to work with it. In fact there are specific Loras for Milfy City characters that will mimic the DAZ 3d look in images if you want to retain that look.

Keep in mind also that painters/sketchers didn't consider photography "ART" when it came out. Painters/sketchers also didn't consider digital art/photoshop to be real art. Digital/2d artists didn't consider 3d DAZ/Blender to be "real" art, and now all of them are hating on AI art but it still takes a different workflow and skillset.
Continuity is possible even right now with practice, but that will become easier in the near future.

Like i said, i view it as a tool, I haven't released any AI art but i have played around with it and understand it. It's more involved than most people think. You can get lucky once in a while, but in order to get consistently good results there is a skill involved. You can also get quite specific with certain details.

Solid argument, and good speech in favor of what AI really is.
A tool
