It is just an unfortunate circumstance of Patreon's crackdown, and until an alternative crowdfunding platform comes out these shoehorned dialogs will have to keep happening. SubscribeStar exists, but it does not look like it is getting the same popularity that Patreon has. Not sure why, but it just hasn't.

Except he is related to them as none of the themes or character interactions would make sense if there was no familial relation. Trying to come up with an excuse doesn't make your reason for reason for losing immersion any less stupid.

You could say the author originally intended to be that way, or that the theme is that way , or that it makes more sense that way , but saying it currently is that way literally contradicts the "plot" section of ICSTOR's patreon page. To me banging some girls you are roommates with is more logical than the thing with Celia, and many others here agree since it keeps being brought up. but its just a porn game so i dont really give a fuck, youre entitled to your own opinion and so am i

I'm seeing more adult content Devs shadowing onto Subscribestar and have been moving myself over there from Patreon for those I've already been supporting.
It gave DMD a (so far) platform for its Season 3, so I am hopeful with what it might offer game Devs going forward - even without Paypal.

Well that is encouraging news to hear. I knew about DMD, because I support it on there, but other Devs I support still have a stronger presence on Patreon than there. Hopefully, this does change, especially for those who want to make content otherwise banned on Patreon. I mean they have been cracking down on Mind Control content now. It does feel like Patreon's noose is getting tighter and tighter for adult content devs.

No surprise, anything that isn't 100% consensual with no strings attached is going to eventually get flagged for PR and payment processor (CC and especially PayPal) reasons.
It's not an opinion, the MC was always intended to be related to the others in the house and Linda's sister/his aunt, that was changed because of Patreon's crackdown on "incest" content and the silly roommate/landlady/friend of your mother's stuff that doesn't make sense most of the time, devs have just worked around it be releasing an "unofficial" patch elsewhere. The Celia blackmail plot has probably also caused issues and why it's not gone anywhere since and I wouldn't be surprised if that gets flat out changed though she's already shown signs to maybe being into it.
