well let's be honest patreons are responsible for this situation , if you are managing a company and you hire someone and pay him 10k every month without giving a f if he did a good job or did something at all of course he will do nothing it's in human nature to choose laziness , people are driven by need.

That means patrons are still supporting ICSTOR's efforts, despite other criticisms - maybe because it's about a patron-style model instead of retail, maybe because they see the personal value, but this isn't a religion where they are in thrall nor a business where they can offer performance assessments. It's up to individuals to decide if they want to support ICSTOR's efforts for whatever reason and all the bellyaching here or in his public Discord channels won't necessarily influence anyone otherwise.
As long as naive people pay for something that is not there will be developers who use it that's the whole philosophy

I believe he will release the update in October, it will be hard to maintain most of his income with no progress (unless people want to just hand him money for fun).
However, don't expect the update to include all of the content he stated, I believe he lied about a lot of it, if not most of it.
He will release something in October, that's my bet.
The guy has no idea to continue the game and this is the main problem. He will probably release v0.6 and abandon the project or try with a new title. Fortunately, he is not irreplaceable...

I lean towards Twank or Otter and if given the choice, I would certainly prefer to play him as an otter. But historically speaking, Isctor hasn't let me down with his plot lines so I'm willing to trust whatever he comes up with.

Icstor contracted me to write the Rob plotline for him and I am very pleased to inform you that the MC is most definitely an otter.
Scenes I've already written:
- MC gets his ass railed by Rob while hiding his moans, trying to talk to Sara.
- MC gets facefucked by Rob until cum shoots out of his nose, then Rob pisses onto his face and into his open mouth.
