MAC version doesn't work...
Mac version wont unpack. Is this a fucking joke?
Not to insult the guy that put up the first link. But can we have a Mac version that actually works please?
Can someone send me a mac file that is not corrupted? Thank you
Thank you, but still nothing. No errors or anything. Just no response. Sorry for the noob question but what is this meant to do? extract the zipfile correctly? or launch the broken game file I already extracted? I've got both on my desktop and i am using correct username
Anyone have a fix for decompression failed message?
Mac's broken, when extracting it just fails at the last bit because it says there's no directory
I am using a Mac and when I download either Mac version or pc version or even the torrent link, they all say the same message: no directory found
GOD help me!!!!!!!!
MAC version doesn't work!
Please let is know if there is a mac fix. PLEASE lol
Damn the Mac version doesn't work FeelsBad
Part 1 - unzipping the file.
It seems that someone unzipped the file, re-zipped it with something besides the system zip utility, then posted it. Dear ICSTOR, don't do that shit.
You can unzip the file using Terminal. Open Terminal, then type unzip, a space, then drag the zip file to the terminal window, and hit enter.
Worked for me. Try typing "chmod -R 755 /Users/yourname/Desktop/Milfy_City-0.6b-mac" make sure to substitute "yourname" with your actual user name.
chmod a+x /Users/username/Desktop/Milfy_City-0.6b-mac/Milfy_City.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/darwin-x86_64/Milfy_City
type also this in terminal
You can make the MAC VERSION work as follows:
- open Terminal.app
- type `unzip `, drag the zip file onto the window, hit enter
- you should have a folder with the game in it next to the zip
- in the folder you have Milfy_City.app
- go back to Terminal.app
- type `chmod -R a+x `, drag the the Milfy_City.app file to it, hit enter
- now you can open the app
cant seem to unzip any of the mac versions??
how do i use it? thank you
what does this mean lol sorry
Mac version is not working you can fix the permission to make it to work
Part 2 - fixing the "it won't run" issue. The permissions are messed up. That's why I think someone unzipped, then recompressed it with another tool, one that:
- Doesn't follow the zip standard quite right, and
- Doesn't preserve Mac and Linux executable permissions.
To fix it, you guys should just used
Permission Fixer.
MAC User use this small batch file to fix the MAC permission. I am not the creator of the file. Credits to the original Maker.
Yeah..."credits to the original maker" isn't good enough. You need to link to the original thread. Cite your sources.
You must be registered to see the links
"But I don't know where I got it from!"
That's why I put a link in the script when I wrote it.
