The gallery hasn't been implemented for the update, so it won't do you much good

Although, here are a bunch of saves at the beginning of each major scene in the update. You can use that to check it out.

Any big bugs that stop from reaching the end of this version?

Not as long as you're starting with a save from the end of last version. If you're starting from the beginning there is a bug that will prevent you completing caroline events (can be fixed using console command)
