I have the same problem with Lara Croft/Angelina Jolie tbh. She just looks like your typical hot girl. Not saying I don't find them attractive, I just find them less intriguing. Lol, is that picture supposed to be Lara?

Touché. I guess "typical" isn't really the right word. More like "classic." They just look like what you would expect a really hot girl to look like, whereas Sara and Linda seem much more unique to me. Idk, maybe the real problem is that I've just played too many of these games, and I'm getting bored of all the dimes. I want more 8s.

I installed the program but it did not fix my issue. I guess I'll write down step by step how I download and launch it, I might be an idiot without realizing:

I download the latest version off the first post in this thread. I unpack the zip file into an empty folder. I've launched the game through both the .exe in the root file as well as the .exe in > lib > windows-i686
Note that I don't have any sound once the game is launched, despite my normal volume being up, as well as having the sound enabled in the 'Preferences' menu in-game.

When I try starting a new game, the introduction with the suited man only displays a black screen where the animation should be. I have no clue how to fix it and I would appreciate any help so much!

Bumping this back up, please, any suggestions are welcome! I've had this issue for days and I can't find a solution
Lastly, is it normal that the game doesn't show up in your volume mixer?

No, it's not normal. Not sure what the problem could be, I've never heard of a renpy game doing that before.

I've downloaded 0.5c but all the animated scenes are simple, black screens with only the dialogue showing. I've searched the forums for this problem and a user suggested switching on the sound. However, even though the sound options are 'On' in my 'Preferences', I don't have any sound in-game and it hasn't done anything for the black screens. The game doesn't show up in the 'Volume mixer' either, which I found odd. Another user (goobdoob) suggested that my system volume might be muted, which it is not. I have already tried re-downloading the game (Mediafire instead of MEGA) and deleting all previous files (even in %appdata%) but this didn't resolve my issue.
I'd really appreciate some help with this one!
