The shift in character is extremely jarring. Complete takes away from the immersive "fantasy by proxy" that has made the game so good. And it looks like there's 2-3 more chapters of this before returning to the main story? That's disappointing.

The game ended when the aunt undressed in front of the camera and just for the fucking money. So it perfectly qualifies as a whore if you start sharing your body for money. We don't know yet how much of that shit is coming. Someone claims to have Linda on the line, but there's nothing to suggest that yet. Still, the idea of a camera whore makes me sick. I really wouldn't touch this game if the situation is that aunt is a camgirl whore. Talk about harem, but that shit completely destroys the whole idea.

You do realize that this is basically a Visual Novel based on an actual book? It will be pretty linear and I would not expect too much to be avoidable... just my take on it.
You can check the first 3-4 pages on this thread where the book author and the Dev make contact and he gets the go ahead to do this. Too many links to post here but here is the actual book, if you are interested.

That dude certainly needs to drink a cup of tea, but he isn't wrong about the exclusivity in a harem. Even using the actual definition of the word and considering the origins, a harem is a form of sexual subjugation. Harems were usually guarded by eunuchs in actual seclusion and suffices to say, they were not allowed to touch each other. This is also the case in contemporary media, including and most common in AVNs where you usually get a choice if you want to allow the women to be with each other.
As for the book, this is a visual novel so it's understandable to expect to make some choices and have some control over the story. Otherwise, there's the "kinetic novel" type.

I was with impression that the camshow was just a ruse to save the aunt. I think "The Director" is probably Nicole or Lisa. Also the video would not be shared... They even ask for Aunty to speak about the protag, like they were testing her for the harem. Doesn't that make sense?
