Honestly, the latest update threw me into the wild. Although I have no idea what to expect from Maximus at this point, storywise it's an interesting update. The last one was all fuckfest and this tries to balance things out by adding the repercussions.. I guess? Still following this for the graphics and because we're invested, but honestly.. I was asking myself if those conversations needed that many renders. I did love the little fantasy sidesteps it took, but what a way to tease Rachel in the shower with only a few images. IMO the story culd have skipped 20 story renders from the first conversations and 20 from the Esmeralda one and gave us 5 extras for the shower scene... This wasn't my preferred balance, but it works!

At this point, maybe the game should break into two games - family fun and mansion. It seems impossible to mix at this point. Maybe that's what the chapters are for?

bro really, there is a difference between story telling and something that looks like twilight fanfiction. what i mean is we do not NEED to know every DAMN emotion or thought or internal struggle they feel to have a good story. this game startet of really GOOD it was a mix between story telling, emotions and sex. the last couple of updates where not even really story telling, i could sum you up the entire story progression in 3 - 5 sentences. the dialog got stretched it feels like a therapy session where some girl tells you her abusive boryfriend is being mean but she loves him so much...

what i mean is there is a line between having or telling about emotions to outline character progression and dynamics and having them in the story for the sake of having them in there, it is TOO much.

As I understand it, the author will make an exclusively AI version? As for me, it loses its charm, I understand from the developer's side, he can do it FASTER, but (as for me) something is wrong... It's hard to explain, but it seems to me that the standard version is better.
