I like it. But it's not about the story (for me anyway), it's a bit of a grind. But there is LOTS of lovely girls to have fun with. It's a manwhore one for me. I do like them too from time to time.View attachment 4411051

All good. Yes it has sandbox, but you can choose to play in VN mode too. But I haven't and heard it was pretty crap and you can't transfer saves or continue your progress, inventory, battle stats into new seasons. If you started from the beginning it would take you a long time to get through all the content it has.
It has mini games, and hard to work out what to click next. There's also lots of battle duels, that seem to take forever to finish. The story is nonsensical at times to me, so I often find myself skipping and then not understanding what has happened. (which I very rarely do). It's very time consuming and with the amount of games I play, I can't commit to it. But it has it's good points too, the girls are mostly hot and nice and fun.
I plan to one day (after it's completed), go back to the start and replay it all from the beginning, taking better note of the story. Maybe in stages. Play for a couple of days, then take a week off, before playing for another couple of days. Something like that, anyway.

I started playing Lust Academy as a VN and the story didn't make much sense to me, some abrupt dialogues and scenes literally out of nowhere.
After that I started playing it as a sandbox and everything became clear - in a VN mode you basically skip some mini-hames and actual scenes hence the story logic is kinda broken. And as Milton said - as far as I remember - you cannot transfer your saves.
So If you want the full experience - I would recommend playing it as a sandbox. And yeah it's a complicated kind a sandbox, you have to keep a lot of stuff in your head, for me it's not a problem, I like complicated sandboxes (Stellar Crossroads, Project Atmosphere and other stuff), I'm weird that way.
You can find a pretty decent WT (txt format) in a thread though to make it much easier, it literally walks you like a blind one through a mine field - tells you where to go and what to do on which day of a week and even the time of the day.

Not really a fan of sandboxes in general, I enjoy VNs for 2 aspects mostly, stories and of course the lewd stuff, if I want to "game" I usually pick up a game.
That said thanks for the infos mate, I might still end up trying it and if I do so, will follow your suggestion and do it the proper way.

Yeah, it is indeed "in-depth" walkthrough. Dude spent plenty of time to make it for sure, it's huge.
Season2 I played with Wt and I remember in a middle of season 2 I took a break for few months and after returning I got lost in that WT, for some time couldn't find where exactly I stopped and i didn't make any notes either
Had to basically repeat all actions step-by-step).

Managed to find some harem AVNs not having tag Harem on F95 from your favorite AVN list such as Criminal Attraction, The Swordbearer and Sort of Justice. Very cool

Awesome. The tag system really needs the overhaul to get here. It's pretty broken. To be honest, I don't really take that much notice of tags at the moment, I try to get information from the thread or people I trust.
While those ones can be played as solo, they can also be played as harem, so they really should have the tag.

According to F95's definition Harem = MC and 3 Lis (min).
But some players understand term "harem" too literally and expect that they will collect every girl they meet in a game. So, it's better be safe than deal with a huge mess in a thread (and DM)
Maybe "semi-harem" tag could change things and make Devs feel more comfortable.

There's also the problem of games (not mine - but quite a few ive played) where they can play like a harem early on but it's impossible to carry that through long term - either you're forced to make choices, or there's consequences to trying it. I've seen some tagged "harem" early on, despite there being no intention of making them so long-term.

I've been playing the latest update today of a game exactly like that today. 'Temptations of Love.' It's tagged harem and the dev said
"I mean, sure, The whole point it's leading to is the big harem stuff like Julia/Kayla/Kate. but if you want to cuck yourself out of 50% of the content and go vanilla for one girl, that's fine. The main LI stuff is gonna be forced for story purposes, but you'll eventually get to a point where you pick one."
So technically it is a harem if you are doing a harem playthrough, but if you then have to just choose just one, then it's not harem at the end. (Unless choosing ALL is one of the choices too).

Eh, don't think I agree with that. The difference is the NTR content is there - but to me at least, harem implies you can build... you know, a harem - not just date multiple women at once or something like that. Don't get me wrong I do agree that the tag system is far from perfect, but trying to be "open me" I'll say a kink is a kink, some might love it some might hate it, no judjment on my side.
In that sense having a harem for let's say 1/2 the game, but ultimately having a solo ending is not much different from having netorare for 1/2 of the game and by the end solving the situation.
I picked NTR on purpose because I know how divisive it can be (and I know is a bit of a stretched analogy), but that's the whole point of tags, to give at least an idea of what kind of content we as readers/players can expect to see in a project.
