I don't want to criticize out of prejudice: I'm just expressing my opinion (perhaps completely wrong). In my opinion, the characters have already "strip down" too much. Too quickly. I ask myself: what's the point of having mental powers to force others to do what you want, if everyone already does what you want? Just throw a party or two.

In that case the point would/could be to use the powers to get with the sister (going well here but not complete) and mother while keeping the girls for yourself.
