Well people are gonna be pissed no matter what I do, because this forum is toxic af and to be honest, since the poll ended and I decided on the way to move forward you are the only one who has a problem with that. I don't owe anyone an explanation on what mods I write. I will also not criticize anyone else who decides to write a mod for this game. Putting it in a mod is my final try to create a compromise for both sides. I could write a mod where the girls starting shitting in their food and then eat it, if I want. That has nothing to to with the game itself. If people don't want it, then perfect. They don't have to do anything and they still don't get the content they don't like.
The game now doesn't have netorare because people voted for it. Point. The people got what they wanted, that I am now putting that content in a mod is a totally different manner. Having a problem with that is almost like crying about me making a new game with netorare even though they voted no for the old one.
And to include the future approach in a poll is generally not a good idea. It is better to ask people how they feel about a topic and then afterwards to think about how to achieve the best compromise for me to achieve my goals and to keep most people happy.

There will always be idiots on the internet. Go ahead and make the game you want to make, if he doesn't want to play it he has thousands of other games on here that he can play.

I created the poll to help decide for the best approach, either put the content in, put the content in and add a switch to turn off the content or to not add the content to the base game but to add it via mods. I'm gonna add the content either way, so in my view to add it via mods is still the best way.

Well it is more a mod. With 0.2.0 I introduced a modding framework in the game, which allows to add events and other stuff via mods. These modded event behave just like the events would in the base game, it's just that they are distributed separately. Patch wouldn't be fitting here, since the mods don't change the game but they just add extra content via the event framework of the game. So the mod will contain new events (with images ) and are also partly able to extend existing events.

-Cafeteria: grind like there is no tomorrow the kiosk, if you are lucky, you'll get the bento event, when you see it, do nothing, if you are extra lucky, the clerk will offer the bentô, you will then be able to propose building the cafeteria.

-Students job: if you thought building the cafeteria was grinding, you are NOT ready for that one. Just grind asking for food in the cafeteria, eventually, you'll get the overwhelmed event. You need to see it 3 times, at the third time, if you are lucky, you will unlock the student jobs. If you are unlucky, just rinse and repeat until you get the event 3 times again and pray the RNG gods you get the unlocking event.

Not sure if it's normal but a lot of events make lose charm is weird way (for instance girl falling in math class you lose charm wether you help her or not)

Damn. I hadn't tried yet, but it sounds excesive. I hope the dev balances that so that it doesn't take so much repetition.

I don't understand why they voted for no male students... if there are male students you can steal their girls and brag that they are yours, have sex behind their boyfriends' backs, go to a girl's house while the father is there and fuck the daughter.
I think people get into the skin of the NPC and feel like they are the ones suffering from NTR, as if they live with an internal fear.

I went to the kiosk dozens of times and never got the scene to unlock, just FWIW. It feels like a really unnecessary road block to making the necessary progress in the game. I'd get it if it were some special side scene or something optional, but for the main, absolutely necessary path to the rest of the game to be roadblocked like that feels odd.

Don't buy the girl's lunch, 25% chance that the cashier will let her off payment, that's how it progresses. Yeah it's a pain in the ass and can take a few tries to work.

Other men don't add anything to the table unless you're into the idea of general debauchery and sharing rather than the harem. I'm into that shi because corruption is my jam regarding porn, and I don't see myself as the MC. Other people do and when there're other boys sleeping around with the females they feel cucked. I generally understand them, but the level to which they mald regarding the mere optional existance of NTR is absurd.
There're many fetishes I dislike; futa, scat, guro... if a game has that kind of stuff and it's skippable, it's like it doesn't even exist for me, so I can't have a negative reaction to it.

I'm with you. Especially if the game makes it so that its optional or skippable. I really can't grasp why the idea of other men in the game's universe having sex is such a huge deal to some people.

There are quite a few games with mods. WTM Academy for example has mods adding more girls. Ashford Academy Redux had a mod that included the events from the older predecessor Ashford Academy. There are also some like Harem hotel with walkthrough mods. Very popular are also cheat mods.
I mean the word mod is nothing more than a short form of modification.
For me a patch is always something that has to do with fixing stuff. Like patching a hole. So in dev terms patching a bug.

The "hate" is a little strong, people are just not interested in having male characters in agame with a full female cast, yeah, that's so weird.

And the fact that the vast majority voted for no males (I voted for optional personally), doesn't mean the vast majority is wrong, it means your opinion and tastes are part of a minority. That doesn't mean the majority is hateful either. (when I say you, I don't mean you personally)

What I don't understand though, is why make a poll if you don't stick by it. First, it shows that you (Su.IT) don't care about people's opinion, and second it also shows what your audience wants and expect from you, that's your market, that's where people who gives you money are (sure, most of the people here don't give you money, but I'm ready to bet high that most people that support you financially came from here).

Don't get me wrong, it's your game, you do whatever you want. But if you wanted to put male students in the game no matter what the poll's result, you shouldn't have bothered with the poll in the first place.

My personal opinion on the matter is that it doesn't matter if you introduce male students through modding or directly into the game, that's still new characters you will have to render and incorporate into your game. Game that already has a very slow development. 1year and half, and you made close to 0 progress with what you had initially planned. Do you really think adding side/optional content will speed up development?

I highly doubt it.

But that's just my opinion, and I'm not looking for a fight, you do you, that's your project, you're in charge, and I respect that. I can only wish you good luck.
