HTML MindWare: Infected Identity [v0.2.0 Public] [Subjunctive Games]

Good evening, I have a problem.

Every time I extract the files, the HTML file disappears from the folder.

It's there in the compressed folder, but as soon as I try to use it in the uncompressed folder, it disappears.

If I try to copy it and put it elsewhere, it also disappears.

I downloaded it from MEGA and Gofile with the same problem. I even went to its Patreon page and downloaded it through Mediafire, with the same result.

I unzipped it onto two different drives (HDD, SSD) with no luck.

And it disappears without going through the Recycle Bin.

I downloaded other HTML games today, like Dickraiser, Lustfull Insanity, and Shady Deals, without encountering this problem with the HTML file disappearing.

Usually that happens when your antivirus is a bit overzealous and puts the file into quarantine without informing you.
At least that is one case where the behavior is like this.

Install LibreWolf.

Firefox and Edge black screen on movie/clips.
LibreWold movie/clips work correct.

Mozilla and Microsoft remove codec?

It's a bug, you probably already did it but the game doesn't recognize it.

I think the videos not showing is a problem with the folder names from extracting the files. I renamed them from
"...\MindWare_Infected_Identity_Version_0.2.0_Public\Version 0.2.0 (Public) - Public\"
to simply
"...\MindWare\Version\"
and they worked again.

edit: while the videos worked again, after a while they bugged out again. Generally closing the browser and opening it helped but now I'm stuck at one point where it does not. Maybe I'll check some more tomorrow.

Did you go to the office on Saturday and installed the exploit on Drake's PC? If you did it you should find out that he pays 35% commission to the one company instead of the normal 15%. Befor leaving you will witness a passage where Drake messes with the new recruit. After it you will get the option to report back to Xavier. This completes the quest and you are able to finish the day IF you also checked all chat messages.
Just played the game and had no bug and I could complete the actual content without problems.

Esit: Yes, there is a way to brick Xavier's quest. Don't remember the exact steps but it evolved around having the implant but resisting AVA all the time. Got the message from Xavier to hack Drake's PC but game would not let me out of the apartment.

Ctrl+shift+J on chrome then the at ">" on the bottom paste the command line

Then just type anything into the textbox asking for the password
