You simply have to play again and select the option that you are not playing for the first time, as I tested. Otherwise, the game always ends on the old save, when our MC finds the Vacation ad and proposes a vacation to his mother.

So are you saying that even if you start a new game, fresh file, it will stop at the older version? Because I have zero saves of this game since the last update (got a new pc).
2 years of developing for 5 mins less of playtime is the new norm for AVNs right now. You can barely find a game that updates and have an hour of playtime of new content.

I'm saying that if you start the game with the "I've already played this" option, you'll get new content. Otherwise, every time you load an old save, you won't get anything new. And that's where you might think the frustration is that there's nothing new in the game for so many years.
