I got a virus alert on the gofile link (didn't try the others) Did anyone scan the files? You think it's a false positive? (It didn't let me download the file because of the alert btw)

I'm still patiently waiting for the next updates. They always take quite a long time so that's not new. Iirc someone posted the a more recent status update recent where the developer says something about being very busy. They've always spend relatively little time since developing the game in their little free time. Patience is supposedly a virtue, right?
This VN is not abandoned, see my post of the latest update news on page 97 and the post at the top of this page.
99.9% False positive, if you use windows defender turn it off when downloading from links off here, I've been downloading off here since Nov 2020 and never had a virus. Maybe add an exception in your virus checker if different from defender.

Why ? The dev promised you something before... Some devs need more time and do this in their free time, so be patient.
Perfectly normal actually - not that we wouldn't all want it to be faster - it's not changed since the beginning; always been this pace.
I checked their Patreon and in the comments dev said 4 days ago they'd update everyone on progress this week.

Which Link did you use? It has been stated in numerous game threads that Windows Defender is not as good as it could be and regularly flags false positives from downloads off this site. Try a different download link or a different virus checker, maybe even put it through VirusTotal.com.
I use Avira and have downloaded "for Windows" from gofile, mega and uploadheaven, mixdrop would not let me connect through multiple browsers.
I have found no virus from the zip file or the extracted folder or the .exe file.
I do not use Windows defender at all.
These are from the windows links. As the same game files are used to create the game in multiple formats it's a pretty safe bet this is clean.
F95 check all files anyway, I believe.

Hey folks, I'm alive - sorry for the lack of messages, it's so easy to put something off and before you know it, another week's gone by!
Since I didn't have much time to sit down and really work through the scenes, I decided to animate a couple of existing shots instead and sprinkle them throughout the scenes, so instead of staring at a static image, you get some nice ambient motion. Above's one example.
In a perfect world, ALL the images will be treated like this. Even an empty street would have leaves flying past, or debris being swept around. Unfortunately I'll have to be judicious with my selection, and will probably be used only for moments that needs it. Even that short clip above is 71 frames (ergo 71 rendered images)
Also it doesn't loop, I only noticed that after rendering. Will have to fix that.
Will probably get this one animated too.
Feature creep is a dangerous thing... but rest assure I'm just making use of GPU cycles when it's idle, because its a lot easier to animate a couple ambient scenes then to sit down and pose/light/compose a scene from scratch.
I'll share more of these. They are meant to be silhouetted, and I've also checked them on a calibrated monitor but please let me know if these are turning out too dark for you.

Can you please stop recommending bs like Avira? You have a dev badge, people take you seriously. Windows Defender is all 99% of users ever need.

I believe this is the only time I've mentioned my virus checker. Just because I mentioned it does not mean I am recommending it, everyone can use whatever they like. I was only showing that my virus checker found nothing and saying that I have never had a virus off this site. Just because you dont like it does not mean it is crap, its been okay for me, Windows Defender was not okay for me.
