My question might be so dumb that I did not find anything with search. So here it goes:
I downloaded the game files from OP. When I run the game in the main menu it says "Act 2". This includes content from Act 1, correct? So when I start the game it will just start with the beginning. There is no other Act 1 I have to download from somewhere, correct?
And is there a way to start it full screen? I am really not a fan of RPG maker games and just realise again why that is.

No, that's the whole game you've got there, the reason it says Act 2 is because that's the name of the most recent update.
You can enter fullscreen by pressing F4. Hopefully this game can give you a new perspective on RPGM. Enjoy! ^^

To be honest I don´t think it will. I am certain I will enjoy your interpretation of it. At least when the OP, sample pics and tags vaguely resemble the content. But that is only because I am very interested in the topic and the visuals.
But a game engine that not even let me open the thing in full screen I will never be a fan of, not to speak about grinding mechanics.

It's on the to-do list for the next update. Counter-grapple has never worked right, so I'll patch it for now, but once the combat overhaul happens, I'll probably rework it entirely.

It has been mentioned that a Future update might bring the option to disable combat (at least that is how I inderstood that). Is this still an idea and could you please give a rough estimate when we could expect that?

That is already implemented. You can set it from the laptop in Missy's room.

Ummm ... he just explained that you can open in full screen, by pressing F4.
