One of best games I ever played in a good while. The animations and overall graphics are very pleasing, but the story and mechanics are what make this a great game. Loved all characters so far, specially how the MC takes charge of the situation.

One of the best game on this site I think. Perfect balance between story, adventure and sex scenes. Quite a lot of content as of 0.7a, many hours to be spent. Graphics are also great and very original. Animations are among the most fluid I've scene. 5/5 game for sure!

This game is interesting. The models are all very well rendered and well animated. I love when models appropriately deform to suit the actions being taken, and there's no noticeable model clipping on characters, so that's a big plus for this one. Great job working hard on those parts.

I've taken one star off because the great attention given to the graphics has not quite been given to all the writing; there's occasional typos and grammatically confusing passages throughout the game. Still, the story is good, and the erotic scenes themselves are well written.

In any case, I look forward to the finale; here's to hoping 395 Games can deliver on the promise they've shown so far.

New version (0.7a) has improved a lot the animations in Android, they're a lot more fluid and smooth, the story is fucking great, the girls all have very interesting and engaging routes and the exploring is actually fun! I can't wait to progress it as it updates. Fucking great game m8. Update soon pls.

(v0.7a) Great game, easily one of the best on this site. Heartily recommended.

Plot: A sudden strange mist has turned all men (and some animals) into hostile shadow forms. You were lucky enough not to be touched by the mist, and manage (in the course of the story) to rescue some interesting girls. Together you work to gather enough food, to build up defenses around your mountain hut, and to explore the woods and beyond.

Version 0.7a is about 10-15 hours of gameplay, and like each (solid) update ends on a bit of a cliffhanger.

Pros:
- Deep intriguing story full of mystery.
- Plot is constantly moving forward, with progressing characters and game world.
- Interesting characters.
- Sandbox but with minimal grinding; always something to do.
- Survival, exploration and combat not too difficult, but really enhance the story.
- (Repeatable) sex scenes have a function. The "harem" tag does not lie.
- Lot of atmosphere, with immersive music and sound effects.
- Quality renders and smooth animations (not just for H scenes).
- Good UI; has built-in hint system.

Cons:
- Apocalyptic horror quite present with some darker plot elements and subject matter (like survivor guilt, (off-screen) torture, and literal puddles of blood).
--> Well interspersed with lighter moments, thankfully. And no direct gore.
- Somewhat cartoonish faces.
- Although sex is definitely present, the focus on the game lies more on the story and the progression. Not for people who are just looking for a quick fap.
- More reasons for and ways to talk/interact with the girls (based on current plot progression) would be nice.
- Minor UI nitpicks (like too-big house location buttons; no forest/etc. map; evening hangout conversation topics not disappearing; no separate page for skills; not always showing correct crops/defenses).

Right from the get go the game does an amazing job at creating tension and atmosphere. The events grip you and the story feels both alive and intriguing.

It's a survivor horror sex game and it truly FEELS like one. The tone of the game ebb and flows, balancing between laid back and intensity. You play the daring survivor who has to protect the women and find out the truth behind the mystery. It's a solid story that doesn't get tedious or dull. The characters feel alive, they've got thoughts of their own, desires and lusts.

The gameplay is somewhat basic but that's not a negative thing, it flows well with the pace. There is a small bit of grind in the game but that's not an issue.

Dialogues are often good, sometimes amazing, it is only a few times that I got annoyed with the MC for being so reserved (when things have already escalated it feels like a step back in development).

Now the sex scenes are fantastic! The animation is done well and even though you got little control over it, the ride it offers is a satisfying one. I personally love the art style on the models, they are jiggly in all the right places and firm where they should be. The animation is just slick and a real treat. Kink wise it isn't too wild with the sex but there are firm aspects of male domination in there. There's plenty of dirty talk that often doesn't feel forced and if you're kinky (which we all are) it's damn nice.

All in all, an easy 5.

TL;DR

If you're into survival horror games with paranormal tones. An engaging story. Amazing animations with hot submissive (not meek) girls, then this is the game for you!

Wow! I played this game once a long, long time ago. There was 1 girl. I think she just had a handjob scene and that was it. The art was great and the story sounded interesting but there was obviously a ton missing. I knew the game would be good one day.

Flash forward to today at 0.7a, and that day is not coming... it has already passed! The game is great! I have not completed all of the content in this version yet, but wow, the dev has done a great job. The game-to-H balance is great, the game side is good, the H side is awesome (which is just where an H game should be imo).

Game: The characters are interesting, as is the plot. Dialog is well written. I sympathize with MC and with the girls. There is a little "grind" midway through but it is perfectly fine (assuming you choose the "Feast" starting option that gives you a lot of food). Navigation is easy with the three checkpoint positions that unlock, and combat is as complex as it should be in an H game without seeming like a useless feature.

H content: oh boy. You can check out the art in the image previews, but you can't preview the animations. The animations are AWESOME. Super smooth. I only wish there was some way to speed some of them up as most of them (by my standards) are a teeny bit slow for an H game. The dialog is great, starting shy and meek and turning raunchy and kinky as the characters get more familiar fucking each other. It's great.

I haven't finished the game yet, so I can't ultimately say what should and shouldn't be done to improve, but I have played many hours so far and I was very impressed. I imagine my only critique might be to finish the game! Great job.

It's a great game. Story is engaging, dialog is comprehensible, animations are good, updates are consistent, objectives are clear.

Original and imaginative story/game.
The Story itself is interesting and does make you want more.

Graphics are very good
Story is immersive and interesting.
Saves slots are numerous, although a delete option on them would be nice.
Animations are very good, BUT they are rather short. Would be so much better if the sex was longer, seems rushed.
Fight system is decent enough and pretty original for this type of game.

Very good so far, it does make you want more and that is a big thing for an adult story/game, it's not boring.

I do have to stress that the Animations really need to be increased, with the quality of graphics this has, short sex scenes make a player go Awww damn done already, that was too quick.

Hats of to the Dev for this one, nice job so far.

The game is much better streamlined, the early story arc for Robin was re-written and is honestly much better. It's a great game, combining porn and really good story with cool twists. I can not wait for the next update!

A very solid game with fun premise, intriguing story and cliche but very fun characters.

First off, don't get fooled by the version number, there is a lot of content and game in here. I didn't time it, but it's above 10 hours. Probably more.
Second, the style is not as serious as you might think at the start. Treat it like an anime story with all the tropes coming to play. Including characterization. I was a bit off putted at first (Robin's story arc is not the best executed thing in the world), but once Mia came to play, things clicked and I fell in love with the game. Don't expect King, expect Kishimoto.
The game encompasses many things - survival, fantasy, sex (lots of it) and menages to skirt the darkness, without submerging you in to it. The story has enough twists and turns to be engaging at all times. A few winks at the 4th wall here and there.
Also, animations. Don't be off put by the somewhat unconventional way the girls look, after an hour you won't care and my god is almost everything animated. Like almost everything has an animation.
Also, number 2. I've rarely seen RenPy utilized so well. The UI is not the clunky mess most RenPy games suffer from, the transitions are nice ans smooth and I've ran in to 0 bugs.
All in all, the attention to detail, the really fun story, likable characters and obvious improvement in the writing hooked me up and I strongly recommend the game to anyone.
PS: Don't bother playing on easy, normal is already quite easy.

Played 0.6.2 and I should say, this game is awesome. Some game you play just to complete the gallery so you skip the dialogues, some game you just wanna know the story so you skip the scenes. But not this game. Both the scenes and the story gets to you. The animation style is not the kind you always see on most of the game. There were some instance of grammar/spelling error but it's practically invisible (I think 1 only saw 2-3 on my first playthrough). Characters are really likeable but does not give the feeling that they will just spread it for you (though they technically did, there was some connection made prior to that). I really like the dynamics of each character that this game has. Good job!

the best game on this site, straight up

Actually great story/gameplay, which is rare af in these games, but more importantly, I've never seen higher quality of animations, there is a lot of content, and it has regular and FAST updates, no milking patreons, no waiting year for an update. It's amazing overall, and no other game comes close right now

This is a great game with amazing animation and good design. It's very clear that a lot of work went into making this and I have enjoyed myself a lot so far. It can be a bit grindy in places but not so much so that it ruins the game. The combat system is pretty good for turn based and simple enough not to be distracting. My only problems with this game so far is that there aren't enough lewd scenes and the ones there wasn't enough anal for my liking. Also, the vent mission was cancer. Other than those small critiques,this is a great game and I encourage anyone reading to support the devs.

Reasons for 5* :
I believe the atmosphere of the game is definitely one of the best and unique.
Gameplay is also something you don't see on most of this type games, I actually enjoy it. And sometimes I even play for gameplay instead of lewd scenes and story (I started on easy mode, and after some time put on normal mode cause gameplay is truly better that way).

Not so short conclusion:
I will start with a lower note .I have to agree with some other in depth revives. The story , dialogue and gameplay itself is lacking. Some things feel really forced (dialog and story vise) It starts from a good pace, and suddenly "!!!!!Small Spoiler in brackets ahead!!!!!!"---[the moment you get black mark on your hand] ---things just happens , and you feel like you missed part of stories and scenes pace. There was a build up and in the middle of it , there here you go you are on the peek now.
Better note : All and all I feel like this game have very strong pillars for gameplay , story, atmosphere and characters. You can definitely see places where little and even strong polish is needed. If you can surpass that for the moment its a great game on all accounts. Story, gameplay , and characters are interesting and to too convoluted. Lewd scenes are really well done. This game has really big potential in my opinion , when its finished and polished up . It can be one of the best games in scene, after which you will try to look for somethin similar ant wont find

I first reviewed this game about 9 months ago and was rather put off by it. The game had some issues with it's mechanics, grinding stats and exploring were frustrating and overall were just unfun . The writing and dialogue was quite awkward and there were some early sequences with Robin that were quite exasperating.

Still, the art for this game was great and other people seem to keep enjoying so I decided to wait and check for updates. I am glad to say, most of these issues have been fixed and it is clear the developer has been putting a lot of effort into polishing this game!

I played on "feast" mode which is the easier, story focused version of the game. The grinding of stats is gone. Stamina and threat seem to have been rebalanced for exploration and you now level up natural as you explore. The pacing overall feels much better.

Scenes with Robin seem to have been completely rewritten and changed, making the flow of your relationship feel much more smooth and positive. The negative scenes where things were her go wrong have been removed and now there are interesting dialogue you can have in the evening with her at the end of the day so the relationships develop more naturally. Overall it feels like a breath of fresh air has been brought here.

I'm really glad a took the time to come back to this game and give it another chance. It really is great to see the developers putting so much effort into their art and making something worthwhile.

There are still some issues with the game. For example, it is easy to spend an entire week fishing without catching a single fish. The random encounter threat system gets somewhat repetitive. I still found a few times where I there was nothing to do and was just sleeping to make days go by while defenses were built etc. Some of the dialogue is still a bit rigid or uncomfortable. For example I was surprised the characters found splicing an electrical wire such a challenge.

Overall this is a great game with an interesting story that the dev has shaped into something unique and enjoyable.

I've been bouncing back and forth on this one. I will agree with previous reviews that the animations are a step above the pack to be sure. The story just eats quite a lot of the veneer and reveals a lack of depth or creativity. It's like each person in the story could be completely described by a barebones DnD character sheet. For those that don't know, that's two personality traits, one ideal, one bond, one flaw, and a one paragraph backstory. Robin just doesn't stop mentioning that she like's plants. It's like somebody roleplaying someone else's character and doesn't want to add any nuance cause they'll be back next week.

The flow of events is both too fast and too slow. Like the relationship development is crazy. The main character is both dense and a perfect people reader. He thinks getting a handjob by the naked girl in his bed, that he's known for a few days by the by, is just a cruel prank. This is something the story makes fun of which doesn't excuse the writing in any way. At the beginning, he hits the "she thinks I'm going to rape her" thing right on the head even though the same behavior could be read as just being slutty or an over reaction to having her life saved, the very explanation attributed to Mia. He resolves the rape issue with fish and deception over the course of like two days. Robin then goes from thinking rape was right around the corner to wanting to get impregnated after a couple of weeks. Wanting to get the sex into a sex game is understandable but to contrast that with the snail's pace of all of the non-sex events is infuriating. It took half a day to walk to a gas station that, given the comparison to the lodge space, seems like a 20 minute walk. It takes three nights of study between three people to figure out how to fix a broken wire. If they were trying to learn how to use a soldering gun and none of them had ever heard of one, then maybe that would make sense. The solution is splicing and duct tape. I'm no electrician but that's what most people would think to try instantly. Robin suggests sneaking because the shadows only seem to react to sound, a giant leap I know, and it takes the MC reading a survival book to try to start being quieter. How hard is it to be quiet?

I also don't get the compliments on the gameplay elements. It must be that many of the people here have not played a non-porn game before. The fights have the same depth as an idle clicker. This game, like any idle clicker, is just disguised math, and, to the detriment of MIST, the math in this case is subtraction. There is no strategy involved in your choices before, during, or after the expeditions. It's not a point and click adventure or puzzle as there is nothing to figure out, everything is spelled out and highlighted. Even on normal, there isn't even a resource management element. I think you'd have to try hard to lose to be honest. The only thing here is just ability to stomach grind. This game is entirely linear with the option to fuck up on purpose if you so choose.

All of that culminates into a poorly-written kinetic novel that has been bloated with "gameplay" riding on the strength of solid animation. Some might argue that there is certainly choices in this game but anyone familiar with the term kinetic novel should also be familiar the tag illusion of choice. The one choice that seemed like it would have some impact has an assurance that it definitely won't right under the options. The only reason I didn't just outright write this off is for whatever reason this was enough to get me hooked. I feel like I've been skinner boxed but I just keep hoping this gets better. I don't think a pack of animations would be better as the context is decent. It just has no depth. I figured, even before I checked, that 395games was just one person and if they can put together the money, they need a writer. The concept and animations are solid but the rest is terrible.

Excellent game, looking forward for new versions. Gameplay is not grindy, and interesting. Great graphics and story. There is no bad sides in this game, it is just awesome. You can easily spend hours.

By far one of, if not the most, polished and enjoyable adult games I've ever played. genuinely surprised by the quality of the animation, story, and gameplay and I'm eagerly awaiting the next update.

I really liked this game. It have an awesome history.
It happens in almost all NSFW games but the sex escenes occurs without any tie to the history but I wanna say taht it isn't necesary bad.
