The game has a lore that overshadows the Hentai feature. Im hooked with the lore.

Also, good job on the girls, the look normal rather than dragging their chests because of excessive size.
Story progression is really good though the grinding is a bit tedious.

The thing I just don't like is that despite Mia being 19 yo, she has a very small head compared to the other ladies in the game, which made me very uncomfortable having sex scenes with her. Is there also an option where the girl will fight with you? hopefully there will be in the future.

Well, I won't lie, I was bamboozled a little: this game looked like it would be an erotic horror where a spooky monster girl tries to fuck your brains out, but it is not. I saw all the necessary tags for it and got my hopes up only to get crushed. (in a non-femdom way)

Still, the game was pretty good, a lot of time went into writing out dialogue/lore. The fact that all the sex scenes are fully animated is also a huge plus. I also appreciated the helpful quest log that updated very often. I personally also liked some of the free use elements with Robin.

There's a bit of a grind with an oppressive "stamina" system that artificially limits how much progress you can make, but overall this game is definitely worth a shot.

So the first thing that caught my attention with this one was the nice sounds incorporated in the game, and the animations.
But after playing for a while, I have to say that the strong point of this game is it's writing and story.

The only problem I had with it is how unfinished the gameplay feels which I believe will not be a problem with the full release also the HUD could use some work and overall the game could be optimized more, performance-wise.

Another problem I had is with the speed of animations, feels a tiny bit slow.

Note that these are the only few negative points that I encountered and I did not focus on the positives in my review, the game is simply amazing, it easily put itself in my favorites list.

Avoided game for some time because did not like art style. Regret this, game is amazing.

Visuals, solid.
Characters, fleshed out. Characters somewhat active in narrative rather than entirely passive for MC to move (albeit still limited by constraints of linear narrative and gameplay).
Conflicts matter.

Survivalist gameplay supports narrative. Present but not over-involved. Never bogs down where it would hurt the story.

Atmosphere perfect for what it does. Could lean more into the psychological horror, but never less than good.

Questlog in the status menu stays current with all actions, so you're never lost.

The ideas and overall concept of the game is pretty interesting. The mixture of mystery, survival and sex feels very natural, to be honest, and the way the relationships unfold doesn't feel as forced and weird as you could expect.

However, and even where's a nice bunch of content inside already (v0.7a), there's actually not a lot to do. The game turns extremely repetitive even before the first hour.
Plus, without anything like a guide to point you a few things, you will surely get yourself lost in our usual "what the heck do I have to do know, I'm stuck!" more than once. Something that shouldn't be that bad on a sandbox, but it actually is when you have such few characters to interact with and place to go to.

MIST has the potential to be a huge game, not in size, but in quality. Yet, it's still pretty far from that.

Ya know what, I really enjoy this game so far, haven't finished this patch of content just yet I don't think. But I really like it. When playing games like this personally I'm ever only really there for the content and not for the story but I got into it haha.

I think the spooky element is really good, its not too element it makes you shrivel up and go inside your body.

Only really gripe I have for this game at the moment, is the English. Sometimes it can come across a bit abrupt and the odd sentence doesn't flow right.

Also out of personal preference, id hope to see a girl with a more curvier body or generally just bustier. You could maybe even throw in a few extra kinks for a bit of fan service like monster girls, pregnancy etc. But hey you're the devs and I love what you have so far and excited to see more content.

You know, I used to dislike VN style games, but this one changed my mind. It got enough things to keep you interested, a good mystery game with enough sex it's all I could ask for. Plus, the models aren't generic and ugly. Big kudos to the dev, I will definitely check out the first 395 game.

Amazing game! Love the art. Love the management mechanics. The characters are interesting (Robin is still my favourite!). Also, the music and ambient sounds are very well selected and implemented.

395 Games has found a good gameplay balance, where it's not too grindy, and you feel rewarded for continuously doing tasks.

Review based on v.07a

A really enjoyable game with a suspenseful story. I'd rate it 5 stars but as an h-game I just didn't enjoy any of the porn, most of the sex scenes I ended up clicking through because although they looked good a great weakness of the game is the character's dialogues, it's written very unnaturally and it gets especially bad during anything erotic. Managing to get me immersed in the world of a game in which you're fucking every 10 minutes is a feat though so it deserves its high rating.

Interesting, I liked the style of play, the narration is done well the interactions with the girls I admit they are not trivial but they have their own character and it makes you passionate about the game I can't wait to see how it goes on!
p.s.
for personal taste I would prefer more interaction between girls with some lesbian scene.

i didn't expect much when i downloaded it but it is really good. the story is interesting the Mia and robin are actually quite cure. haven't found the other 2 yet. the scenes are very hot. my only complaint is the dialogue box it covers too much of the scene especially during sex. a show just the text and not the box option or a hide UI toggle would be great.

The sudden appearance of the moving ski lift through the trees is a stroke of genius. There are other such wonderful surprises. Scares. Suspense. It's a post apocalyptic story with sex rewards. The focus is more on the story than on anything else. Grind can be avoided by selecting "abundant food" at the beginning.

Truly excellent game. I have played many games here and this definitely stands out.

The story is interesting and unlike some other games I've played it hasn't totally fallen apart after a few updates into development, it has remained quite cohesive.

In terms of porn content its great. Plenty of sex and it's mixed in with the story. I will say the scenes are quite linear, you don't really get a choice in what happens and the scenes will always happen, but I don't mind it, it's just the type of game.

Graphically speaking the environments are nice. Lots of neat environment models and the atmosphere is really cool in many places, gives a slight mystical spooky vibe. The sound is also nicely done.

Model wise the style is what I would describe as cartoony looking. The worst part IMO are the faces, but I don't completely hate them just a bit weird. The bodies are really nicely done however, and the MC's genitals look especially good (dont judge).

To compliment the great models there is some absolutely spectacular animation work. Easily some of the best I've seen on this site. There is also plenty of them. In addition there are many cinematic scenes which also look great.

Overall definitely one of my favourites. Looking forward to more.

Review of v0.7a

TL;DR: MIST is an all-around 5-star game. The sandbox is extremely well done, the characters feel like real people in dialog and personality, the MC isn't a douche or a pussy, and the dev did a great job on creating an immersive story and animations. Oh, and the lewd scenes are pretty good so far and keep getting better. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

So, I don't review many games, but I have to for MIST. I'm not usually a fan of sandbox games, as most are done very poorly and/or are very difficult and grindy. It is particularly well done and straight forward, so kudos to the dev. There are hoops to jump through, but the quest tracker makes it easy to figure out what you need to do to progress.

Another thing that at first was a little off-putting is the art style, but also refreshing to see and the character design was well done. The backgrounds as well are very well done, as they don't have the usual overused HDRI panoramic look. It's obvious 395 took their time to create a look that gives the feeling that the characters are actually in the world and not pasted on top of it. Really improves immersion.

The dialog is well done, and I can't say I remember seeing many, if any, misspellings. If the dev's first language isn't English, I sure couldn't tell. The only issue that I saw was it could be a little less wordy. The only improvement would be more conjunctions (I'm, it's, etc.). I'm an avid reader, so really I'm just nitpicking. Like I said, other than that, extremely well done.

The characters (like I said above, not far into the game, so I haven't met many yet) have personality and feeling when they converse with the MC. There are definitely emotions and motivations that drive them and makes them three dimensional rather than the get-to-the-lewds 2D characters that can be seen on a number of other games I've played. While that's all well and good for a quick wank, I'm partial to a well thought out story, or porno with a plot if you will. I end up looking at the clock thinking "holy shit, it's already 2 am," and in my experience, that only happens when I become invested in the story and characters. I also really like the MC, because he's not an asshole, at least not usually intentionally, and he's not a sniveling pussy that whines about everything. He can be stern and forceful, but also considerate and caring when the situation calls for it. All in all, even if there were no lewds, the story would still be well put together and immersive.

The lewds are well done, and so far all are animated. At times they can be a little clunky, like the FPS is a little too low, but they are very well done with no poke throughs that I noticed. They can be a little long at times as loops were used to extend them, but other than that, it's obvious great care was taken to create the body/limb movements and expressions. True-to-life animations are fairly difficult to achieve, but the quality is definitely there. Again, the pros outweigh the cons and definitely justify a 5-star review.

I've seen a few reviews for MIST that say something along the lines of "I can't believe I didn't try this sooner," and I am in complete agreement. MIST is a gem among stones, and not many equal the all-around quality I have seen so far. I know I'll be a bit upset when I reach the end of the latest update, and will be chomping at the bit for the next.

Let this game fly under the radar for too long. Thought I wouldn't enjoy it as at first glance I thought the art wasnt to my liking. Boy how wrong I was. The art is quite good actually, and the animation used in this game is probably the best I've seen on any game showcased on this site (by a significant degree). Quickly has earned a spot in my top 10 favorite adult games. Even the story is pretty interesting (which says alot as most of the stories in games here are... rather lacking). Not too grindy either which is nice, generally on most sandbox games I end up just editing save files to avoid the horrible grindy nature built into them, but this game was refreshingly easy to play and didnt focus on grinding out stats like most games tend to. Looking forward to future updates and additional content from this creator.

This has to be within the top 5 best adult games i have ever played.
First off, what i loved:
- Amazing renders: the animations are incredibly smooth and realistic, all of the girls look great (my only issue is the hair and eyes, but that is a super minor when they look this good!)
- Deep and Engaging story: Holy fuck, this has the best story in any adult game i've ever played, no contest. While i definitely liked the adult content, i was completely engrossed in the story while playing. The mystery surrounding the mist is very intriguing
- Professional UI and HUD: pretty self explanatory, all of the UI/HUD elements look very professional and well put together. (I should add that this game just feels incredibly professional in general, but when i first started playing I was very pleased with the UI/HUD elements in particular)
- Top notch sound: the sound is very atmospheric and fits every scene perfectly (minor complaint, scenes like sharpening the axe repeat the sound while you're reading which is slightly annoying)

Issues (most of these are nitpicky, but intended as constructive criticism):
- Some information is repeated back to us right after learning it, which feels repetitive for obvious reasons
- Character animations during conversations (like blinking) were kinda choppy
- Miss-use of words: examples: unlogical should be illogical, ski lift should be cable car (also, besides the occasional miss-use of words, the spelling and grammar is very well done)
- Harem game with few girls, maybe its just my personal preference, but a harem game with only 4 girls but this much content feels weird.
- Some character interactions feel weird:
- After telling Robin to trust you, you ask her if you can keep doing sexual stuff, even though you're telling her to trust you and she was only doing that stuff initially out of fear/self-preservation (seems like that would make it harder to trust you, imo. I would've handled it by saying, "I'm not opposed to the sexual interactions continuing, but only if that's something you want")
- Despite having sex all the time in the safety of the cabin, Mia tries to get you to fuck in dangerous areas (maybe she's just exceptionally freaky, but I'm way to rational to go along with those kinds of decisions haha)
- Robin was a farmgirl who now manages the farming and cooking, Lily was a scientist and fills that role in the group, so why was Mia a librarian that turned into the group's builder? (this is incredibly nitpicky, but i just found it strange)
- All of the girls are loners (pre-mist): in all of the girl's backgrounds they have incredibly small families and don't mention having any friends, which just feels weird (once again, this is incredibly nitpicky)

All in all, this is an amazing game, and I'm looking forward to future updates!

I honestly don't know why I didn't try out this title earlier because after having played through the current content it really is one of if not the best adult Ren'Py games ever made (and I have played quite a few of them)

Pro's.....

- Unique art style that really grows on you
- Intriguing story and plot
- Plenty of content already (10 hours + easily)
- Beautiful animations, simply superb (it even animates some of the non sexual scenes like when exploring and combat etc)
- Actual gameplay elements (turn based combat, survival etc)
- Great characters and there development (each character will grow on you over time)
- Game has some audio and music (whilst not the greatest it gets the job done)

Con's.....

- The writing and English can be awkward at times, doesn't seem to flow like a normal conversation would in reality and some words just seem out of place and unnatural (not a big deal though but could do with someone who speaks fluent English to correct these mistakes)
- Some sex scenes seem to end abruptly especially the earlier ones
Really just nitpicking though and won't affect my 5 star rating

All in all it's a fantastic game and once you start will suck you in and leave you feeling somewhat sad when it's all over. Kudos 395 games.

I really enjoy this game. The art style took a little getting used to but the amount of care put into every render and motion is amazing. The setting isn't necessarily unique but its used in such an interesting and charming way. I would love to see a little more kink but time will tell on that front.

I love the narrative and can't wait to see what happens next.
