game is made on Godot engine .... its a pretty capable engine
and grind is not that insane ... takes around ( 10mins - 15mins) to gain enough stats to beat the toughest fighter in arena and start earning quick money
Sadly that's still a deal breaker for me.
I play these games for the story and sex...
(Which both caught my attention in your game. I feel like it's the exact kind of thing I like).
But I don't want to deal with a grind that "is not that insane"... I want
zero grind.
Just the fact that I have to manually walk from place to place, scouting for where do I need to go next, is already a pain.
Other "minor" pains:
-Had to start a game to be able to access the settings to set it to fullscreen.
-20 saves limit (when I often reach 600 saves in a single Ren'Py game [some games reached 6000 saves]). And I don't even know where these are stored.
-And for some reason this engine make the art look like it's 720p, even when the settings are on 1080p, which already looks low quality on a 1440p monitor.
Sometimes I just like to open the game files and take specific images or animations from there, without loss of quality.
I often do compilation folders (1 folder with all the creampis/cumshots/squirts, 1 folder with all NTR scenes).
And in Godot, I couldn't even find a Screenshot button (I just pressed my entire keyboard).
By the way, having to remember the keys is another pain... Z/J/X/K are the binds? Why?
Basically, I just wanna sit and enjoy...
I really don't wanna waste 10-15 minutes fighting some dude.
As much as I don't want to walk around with some low-quality 2D-3D sprites.
I have tried time and time again to play other engines, but it was never the same as Ren'Py.
And whenever someone does a Ren'Py port, and I play that, I can instantly see how unnecessary all the other "features" are.
Good examples of that: Long Story Short, My Wife's A Star and Anna's Exciting Affection 1.
I absolutely love Long Story Short but the single reason why I didn't buy it on Steam is it's not the Remake version up there.
Also can't wait until someone does a Ren'Py version of Shutter Seduction, which I won't play with its current engine.
Please, don't get me wrong...
I'm really interested in the story and art, I really wish I could enjoy your game.
The characters are HOT, and from what I saw, the plot is just the kind that I like.
If it was Ren'Py, I'd have already bought it on Steam without a second thought.
But I'm not here for all the speed bumps that are on the way of the story.
Honestly, just having access to the images and animations of your game in file format would be great.
I could enjoy it off of that, not worrying about the pains and grinds and walking around.
Even if I had to miss out on the dialogues... To me, that's better than doing the chores of "playing" it.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one.
If you search "save" in this thread, you'll see 5 full pages of people asking for a save (that's one 10th of the comments here).
I guarantee all of those people would not mind playing a Ren'Py game from start to finish, cause that takes less work than asking for a save here and hoping somebody answers.
I really wish you the best with this game though, cause the content seems good.
Maybe I'll buy it on Steam next time I feel bored (and the game is finished and on discount).
Sorry for the text-wall.
