Jeez the writing is all over the place, I don't think it could have turned me off from playing this game any faster.
so there is a way to get past that scene? no matter what i do or how often i restart/reload always freezes
I got past the grandma/barn animation issue by saving/reloading and not playing full screen, which suggests it is something to do with resources and the game engine.
But I was not able to play after the roof scene. Vivian, the ex-gf, appears, player goes to the roof, watches the telescope, then the game asks to save, and that save will never work. When loaded, it goes back to the menus. Does the game end there, at the roof? TY!

Right after the 1. grandma H scene the game freezes.
The 1. night when out side after the "noise" i have have about 10 FPS
I played it about a year ago without these issues. Loading scenes takes way longer now.

You don't even bother trying do you?!.
If it's to hard for you to get pass this impenetrable defenses you are probably not old enough.

I swear I've been following this game since the first beta got released but have never been able to get through the first scene. What's the point of adding content like day 1, day 2 when people can't even finish the prologue because of bugs that have been there forever! Like I get excited everytime a new update drops and then quickly get frustrated when I start playing this.

same here ... I thinks it because all the files and data is in one exe and this messes up everything ... to big to handle the gameplay properly
the game looks awesome but with all those gameplay problems I´m gonna pass on this one ... sadly

that happend to me too but what i did is just press one enter i wait the text and press one time the action button and the animations runs normally

Grandma scene after stable freeze the game. Second answer to teacher breaks the scene and you have dialog screen stuck(still can move around) and unable to progress. After opening door and getting to the roof, on use telescope task, you get to a save screen and then it drops you to start menu. Game over, all play options lead to a dead end.
