It really sucks that there's nowhere where we can read these comics, no site has any of Moiarte comics that came out within this last year i feel like.
I wish he would lower the subscribtion fee to his patreon, 25 bucks is just waaaay too much for a lot of us (and that's not even the tier that gets you access to all of his work).
It's freaking frustrating to not be able to neither support the guy nor get access to his work, we're stuck with reading all his old comics over and over again..
(ps: this is not a rant, so don't come at me barking.)

his work is worth every penny, I think he is the best at what he does but I agree with what you say. Maybe it would be good to have a lower rate where you can maybe see sketches or previews of what he does.

I'm sorry but I don't think there's anyone out there with a brain willing to spend money on sketches and previews, that would be beyond silly.
Also we'll agree to disagree on this but "worth every penny" is a massive exageration in my eyes, 45 dollars per month for some comic doesn't matter how good it is isn't worth it. But maybe we don't value 45dollars the same and that's fine of course.
(There's a lot of great artists and devs out there who create some amazing work with their comics, adult games, animations etc but still have some very affordable tiers on their patreon page for an important part of their fans, i think if Moiarte did the same he'd have even more fans subscribing to his patreon, just my opinion)
Market sets the price, as long as there are people willing to pay the price, it will stay up. Moreover people are less inclined to leak content if they are paying top dolar for it.
Indeed, and because the guy doesn't advertise or really do anything to increase awareness of his work he'll slowly bleed subs as people get tired of paying the premium, until he has to change, one way or another.

Oh i absolutely get that, and good for him i must say. He's selling something that he creates and has a solid fanbase of people who purchase his product, making good money form it and the guy has been doing this for well over a decade and only got better at his craft, you can't hate that.
I just wished he would add another tier that would be accessible for a lot of us (where we could have access to his work from 2-3 months ago for example).
I don't think we will ever see this happen, the more people get access and at a cheaper price, the higher the chance of content being leaked, once a comic is leaked it looses all it's value. Moiarte has published dozens of comics, but only the few newer ones who have not been leaked are actually giving him income. People could band together into one account to lessen the monetary burden, but recently on his twitter Moiarte announced he's able to tell when an account is being accessed by multiple users, although i believe this tool is mostly being used to detect users who are selling his content at lower prices.
In an ideal world, Moiarte would make his income trough adds, like many porn sites his content would be available at his domain, and instead of striking leaker accounts, he would not care if content got stolen, because if it gets uploaded into other free porn sites it would serve as free advertising, which would flock curious new viewers into his domain, which would generate more income.
Because he's been butting heads with his pirate community by a considerable time, after getting most of his content leaked, loosing a considerable amount of income, and after creating a reliable piracy countermeasure system, i fear it might be too late for him to consider a different approach to his business model.

Moiarte is of the finest artist. And nobody wants his art to be stolen. So he is doing right by catching thieves. But yes i believe if he would have his subscribtion at only 1 dollar he could make 5-6 times more than he is making now. Because then he would have lots of people to pay for his work. And he then still could ban leakers.
That being said, there would have been a huge number of leakers as well, now would use his time to make comics or ban leakers. And he is an artist not a businessman, so marketing strategies, big team is what he is lacking.
So don't judge him on those matters.
People buy paintings at millions of dollars, literally just because someone famous have drawn it, most buyers don't even understand the meaning behind, but still buy at such high price. Why? Because its art.
So moiarte is an artist and he still delivers his art at considerable price.
Yeah I myself am not able to subscribe due to my financial condition. These are my thoughts, no disrespect towards anyone.
And I love watching matilde getting her ass fucked!
