"What year it's situated"?
What kind of year: In the author's made up fantasy realm, I'm guessing is what you must mean?
In that case, I've never ever seen him give any kind of "years" in any of his stories. The best you can get is whether he thinks one of his stories comes before or after some other story, and he's not always consistent in that having so many of them.

Another crazy thing he often does is to have 'modern technology' (like modern furnishings) appear in various scenes where the settings are those of 'villages' similar to the Middle Ages on earth. This is no doubt due it being much easier to created in 'rendering software' he uses.
