I'm also facing the same issue, I cannot run this game, it keeps saying to change the screen resolution
Yo i think I figured it out, use this Resolution 1760*990 I think it might work
and i also changed the compatibility to windows XP (Don't know if that's really necessary)

same problem and why does this game makes itself a seprate drive not folder but drive why and installing it is such a hassle cant the downloading manual and other instructions be in english except for exclaimatory marks and question marks ?i played the game a little but it was all japanese lang no english
this image shows up when i try to install. I am trying in japanes emulator too. Can someone give me the solution?

does anyone know how to get english version for this game cause all translated english it shows is names and numbers not the actual text which is basically useless for me
i've been tryna set up this game but i just couln't call me stupid or whatever but i just don't get it, does anyones knows or has a walkthrough cuz i give up, i tried to follow all the steps but just dont work
I've seen this asked a few times with no answer, but I'll try asking too. I had no problem with installing, and the game runs for me. My issue is with the english patch. If I try to extract the patch directly into the game folder, it tells me I don't have permission. If I try to copy/paste or drag/drop the extracted files into the game folder, it tells me I need more space. To those of you running the english patch: how did you get it to work?
Hey guys, what does this mean? Game is installed but I when I click the icon to start the game this message pops up and then the game closes.

I can get the game to work but not the translation, anyone wanna explain it to me like I'm a idiot?.

If you still need help with the english I got it to work.
First I did this before step 2 of the installation,
Extracted files from english patch.rar,
Next move all the files to the folder MAMABOKUDL and replace all the existing ones,
Then just do as the installation says, it will not change the home screen or UI but if you play the game it is in english.

NEED HELP GUYS 
1st, ss shows my emulator file
2nd, one shows that its running, i spam clicked saved so many times.
3rd, these are the game files extracted nicely, let me know if i miss smth.
4th, the error its showing
