does this game have the western writer disease where the game never finishes, dialogues are shakespear wannabee, and the screen is just word vomit after word vomit? cause holy hell i cant stand those games anymore, they treat it as a VN with subpar art and word vomit every button press.
Not really, its a SAO-style story but with TSF-fetish stuffed into it played completely straight. its great
"Never finishes" is what we were discussing a little while ago. The dev is "strange", so they kept a consistent but weird schedule of ~1 update per year until they disappeared exactly when the story was so near the ending. Still, it may be good to play, since it will still be like playing through the entire Shadow of Colossus but without defeating the last boss: it's only the ending that you won't know, and you still got a great experience with a great game.
As for "shakespear wannabee dialogues", I have never read Sheakespeare to know, but well... based on the things I heard about... The dialogues are pretty cool and understandable. Not exaggerated in quantity or in formality (actually, everyone is pretty informal, although very far from "ghetto style").
And about "word vomit", it's a RPG, so it will obviously have a good amount of story and all. But, if you are ok with regular RPGs (yeah, there are people who believe any RPG is a "word vomit"), I don't believe you should worry, since the game has a good pacing, and you have action when it's the right time to have action, and text when it's the right time to have text. It's not a VN, it's a RPG Maker game, and one with quality and style pretty similar to the quality and style of some of the best eastern H-RPGM games that I played thanks to this forum.
And about the content itself, it's basically a Monster Girl Encyclopedia fan game with a SAO skeleton. People got stuck on a VR game, when they (including the MC) lose they become monster girls, and just like many H-RPGM, most h-scenes are bad endings, but there are a few that aren't.
As for the art, just like many regular "amateur" games around here, they are 99% from other sources, similar to "real porn" games like the html ones, but with hentai from boorus (and from MGE) instead of porn pics and alike (it's just 2 or 3 scenes that uses original art, which, if I'm not mistaken, were made by fans). I personally don't see it as a problem, since I'm ok with such things, I understand the dev's limitations, and the choice of images and all were good, and so on.
my real concern is about "word vomit". ive seen it in so many western novels and recent light novels where they use an entire paragraph to describe an unimportant or needless scenario when the author could have shortened it to only 1 sentence. An example would be the narrator describing an object in great details for an entire half a page only for it to be discarded and never to be mentioned again in the novels or something to that extent.
Since youre vouching for this game then ill try it and see if im proven wrong

I dont know, i dont really care for one piece, but do tell me, how many terrible girlboss movies came out where the writers clearly dont know how to write a female lead? (Mulan live action, Snow white live action, She hulk etc.) How many sequel games that just destroyed whatever legacy they built because its written by people who dont know how to write? (AC shadows, Dragon Age Veilguard, Back 4 blood) Hence "Western writer disease". The only piece of good media to come out of the west in recent years would be clair obscure and Puss in boots the last wish.
At least asian devs arent shamelessly baiting people with content locked behind a paywall on their patreon only for them to jump ship once they are done milking idiots with their unfinished game. Ive seen it before and i keep seeing it still, at least finish the damn game before shamelessly asking people to donate to your patreon. I think the only western games ive seen thats actually finished here would be, The last Sovereign, Games by NTRMAN and Aurelia.
