Looks like a really fun game, beastiality is icky though
Couldn't agree more, but you can technically ignore it depending on your definitions.
The only true bestiality in the game is a horse room in the brothel that you can just not make since you can get by without it. Otherwise, there are werewolves, minotaurs and snake/dragon looking lizard monsters that are obligatory for progression, but depending on what you consider beastiality, they're mostly okay.
If you really want to give the game a shot, you could simply build those rooms out of sight and just try not to think about it, but you still need to monitor everything at least somewhat to make sure you can still clear the game.
That's what I do, at least. That being said, I do think you should at least try it. This game is an absolute treasure and once you work around the stuff you don't like, there is a lot of stuff to enjoy.

I think it's the third button from the bottom.
You can add more languages or alternative translations to \MonsterBlackMarket_Data\StreamingAssets\Localization\

How do I get the "Venereal disease"? It's a question I'm new.
Venereal disease is often found in the brothel if you don't use condoms or sterilization gate. Note that you can switch the gate off.
Alternatively, switch off a slave's automatic health management, put a corpse in a room, and after a while it will foul up a room. Everybody in the room would have a chance to get venereal disease.

ie i did enable it by pressing f5 and setting to true but cant find the button to get the gold increase

The cheat menu is in the upper left.
Do note that it only shows up if you enable it in settings, save that change by pressing the huge green button at the top of the mods menu, and then restart the game (as is noted in the cheat menu setting).

So I've had a few problems with the modpack I've been trying to figure out for a bit now and I've had no luck on my own. So I'm going to ask them here.


Foremost among my problems; I had a hell of a time trying to get through the minotaur and salamander tasks. In a fundamental lack of understanding with the Complex Breeding mod I couldn't figure out how to get anything to work with, or the purpose of, the essences and none of my slaves could breed with a minotaur or the salamander since they didn't have multiple pregnancy traits.

I've looked more into the guide for CB in flannan's signature after floundering for a while and I see that I was engaging with very little of the mod itself considering all the species listed. I got some goblin and orc girls and thought it was just a native, low chance thing. However, I'm having trouble getting the essences to pop up when I use the growth vat from Noel. They just don't show up in character details when I add them in with the growth vat screen. I'm not sure if there's something I missed or if it's somehow bugged.

On top of that I can't see any changes occurring to my slaves in the tentacle rooms. Enlarge breast size doesn't seem to so anything and draining essence doesn't seem to do anything. Though they do have bigger wombs, but that was also before I upgraded the rooms themselves. Not sure what's happening there.

Any kind of help would be great. I want to figure out this mod but I feel like I'm just missing something.

In Complex Breeding, that is a stat, rather than a trait.
You can increase the "womb size/Max concurrent conceptions/multiple pregnancy" via the tentacle room with "Enlarge Womb Size" modifier or via womb dilation, which happens randomly during climax inside (Which is how you got bigger womb before room upgrade).
If they don't have the required womb size for monster offspring, they can still have slave offspring if they have the corresponding essence (feral for minotaur, elemental for salamander).

Despite having the UI suggest otherwise, I think that you get predetermined traits from Noel. No matter what traits you roll.

When a negative number is displayed, you need at least that much in "Vitality Storage". You get those via the "drain" modifiers.

This has been greatly helpful to me, but I have just one thing I need to respond to and additional issues I noticed.

Slaves and monsters who come out of Noel's vat do not display stats at all. They have a personality and a profession(sometimes), but no essence.

Cosmetic potions do not work on my slaves at all. I can't change them. I don't know if that's intended by the mod or another issue.

Also, I've had weird issues with my pixies not moving newborns, birth count not increasing, and slaves randomly dying upon loading the game.

This is a feature of the Complex Breeding mod.

This seems to be a bug. No idea what exactly is wrong there.

Yeah, that is part of the mod. I guess it's because the mod uses the cosmetic system to facilitate the different looks for the slave races.

Again, I do appreciate the answers. I have another question I would like some clarification on regarding the tentacle room and essence.

When a slave has positive or negative essence, I need to pair that with the opposite modifier on the room to "drain" it, right?
So if a slave has -30 eternal I need to, over time, add +1 or +2 to its value with a "Drain eternal essence +2" to eventually get it to even out and removed from their sheet?

I've got CB for dummies active but I can't seem to get any of the races with forbidden essences to spawn no matter how long I leave slaves breeding with the required essence to make it happen. It's been hours of real world time.

Do I absolutely need to drain the sacred and demonic essence from a slave to get them to spawn a vampire, or vice versa for an angel? Because I'm losing my mind.

The randomly dying is prolly a bug. I had that happen randomly.
Pixies not moving newborns can be just too much to do for them or no space.
If Pixies stop working completely, that would likely be a glitchy slave.
Can't comment on birth count not increasing. Haven't paid attention to that.

As I mentioned before, I think this is intentional. The traits/essences you roll for will not be considered as far as I know.
Pretty sure Minotaur and Salamander have some essences when using Noel's vat. Likely predefined.

Just to be sure. Do you actually have slaves with negative essences or positive above 10 ?
Or is that in theory from the rolls you see in Noel's vet ?

The +1/+2 are the amount of Vitality you get for draining/ removing one level of the corresponding essence. One at a time.
Essences cannot be added to an existing slave, only to their offspring. Essences can be removed.
Hence negative essences shouldn't work.

Vitality is basically a resource that is tied to tentacle rooms.
You gain it by draining things, according to the indicated + number.
You use it to add things, according to the indicated - number.

To get an Angel, you need 8 sacred and 4 magical essence while NOT having any demonic or eternal essence.
Meaning you gotta drain demonic and eternal essence.

If you have essence values like "-30", this is either caused by "Chaotic Market" mod, or by loading a game started without Complex Breeding. Normally, essence values should be from 0 to 10, but essence values use the same data slots as ordinary trait modifiers without CB.
This might also be why slaves randomly die when you load the game. If such values result in them having negative hitpoints, it might kill them.

"Drain eternal essence" should reduce the eternal essence value, bringing it to -31, then -32 and so on. While giving your vitality store +2 for every essence drained. But note that it might refuse to drain essence that is below 0.

Yes, I have slaves with negative values all the time. -30 isn't even the highest I've seen on a slave. I believe I have one with -45.

I do have chaotic market activated but I only started this playthrough after installing and activating the mods in the modpack. I had a failed first run, then started a fresh playthough. So everything was installed and activated already.

So from what you said, negative essence values are not normal. That makes more sense. I guess I'll try turning off chaotic market and starting a fresh playthrough to see if there are still negative values on slaves.
