Not a sequel with the same MC. There is now a new one who is a vampire. The former MC is mentioned in the story, however, depending on your actions in the first game.

Yeah, so far the story mode was really satisfying and I don't think I missed anything major, hope they keep it that way.

There is no grinding in sandbox mode as of yet

Story mode apparently will be limited in the long run. As of right now? Not much difference
