i never said i would skip. until the game is marked as "completed" i usually play thru each update to see if there're any new things.

I haven't played this title since the harem tag was removed the first time. And for the ideal harem path, should Lily be ignored...or should the player just pursue all the girls (and go with the flow) until some of the girls come together purposing a harem?
And it's said the August walk through caused issues for the August update, and now it's also out of date (some say it's ideal to not use the walk through for the harem path). Just wondering what choices are needed for the ideal harem path to happen?

broken saves is not something I really have control over (renpy creates a save of “the whole state of the game massively” so when you add choices (and the way I do it in the game each choice is a new variable) a variable or in general content that impacts in future scenes the game breaks (often even when it doesn't impact )

Thanks for the good information. So when MC is at the castle, should MC avoid having sex with the vampire mother? (The scene where the mom confronts MC in the garden, and MC fucks her silly while the creepy father is flying around watching MC fuck his hot wife. At least that is what I read can happen when MC is invited to meet her parents at their castle.

You don't need to avoid that, either. You can even blunder and let her realize that you're a wolf in vampire's clothing. Depending on the blunder this leads to different dialogue or you straight up overpowering her – turning her on. Though the outcome is the same as not having your beard and ears out for the scene: a bit of guilty conscience. You can even tell her that you're DTF whenever, afterwards…
