Mech Academy has a character whose face is the same as Dragomira's, it is the visual novel that is suspected to be from this developer but with another name. I don't recommend it, great start but it ends in the same way as this one, it lacks dialogue with each romantic interest that makes you feel that the choices had value and it's not just a "And our protagonist lived happily with (Insert LI name)".

Anyways, soooo I'm reading this is somewhat finished right? Apparently there'll be a sequel or whatever, but my question is: is this version bug and typo free?

I was interested in this claim (I suggested the dev may have to release another game under another name after MC's ending, so I was interested to see if they've already done this). So I had a quick look at the code and it seems like this may actually be the case. There are a lot of similarities in the code. Either the two separate devs are working off the same Italian first codebase, they're the same person, or use the same Italian developer (and different writers/artists).
It's interesting that Mech Acadmey's new game, Mutant College, has some similarities in code, but also some big differences. I wonder if the writers/artists/devs behind these games are switching up who they work with.
I haven't played Mech Academy yet, but just loading it up, I noticed that this MA character from the main menu looks pretty much like Shosha from MC. I had a quick look through the images and found this - they are practically the same (Not hating on the dev at all for this, just making the comparison)

Ending sucks, harem members are hinted at going with others - especially the main ones Nina is hinted at going back to her old asshole boyfriend, Rachel is leaving, Anne is coming back but apparently is living along ways away

You're right, it's Mech, I looked it up before writing it and I still forgot, sorry. If they are not the same developer, I'm sure they have some kind of connection, the character models are the same (I know this is common in these visual novels but in this case all the characters seem to repeat themselves), and in addition to the code both stories fail in the same aspects, especially in the ending, they end exactly the same, everything that is being criticized at the end of Monster College can also be applied to Mech Academy, perhaps it is a simple coincidence and I am overthinking the situation, or maybe not...

But yes, I am aware that a lot of games use the same assets. And a lot of games use the same base models. I may not have played as many VNs as other people, but I don't think I've seen the exact same model(s) used in multiple games. I'm not sure what base model is used in the images I showed, but it would be interesting to see if it is a default model with a hair colour change. If it's not a default model, then it's a good indicator that it is a reused model and could be the same creator. (Just in case it wasn't clear before, reusing models/assets is fine. But just using it as an indicator of if it's the same creator or not)
The visual style could easily be explained by the game being set in space with mechs, as opposed to a modern day/medieval style school.
I'd also point out that my assumption was not just on the images. The code is very similar in structure too. From the other rRenpy VNs I've looked at, they obviously share some similarities, but MA and MC do share an unusual amount.
Which is why I also suggested that maybe the creator of MA and MC may be a dev/writer/artist and hire out the other parts.

I wouldn't count on it. dev hyped this game up to be way longer and more in-depth but in the end we got a rushed ending where it feels like none of the choices we made mattered at all
