I am a low level patron, so to summarize:

So we're under 50% of the actual meat and potatoes of the next zone what's supposed to be of such amazing quality as to be worth the delay. I don't wanna go full doomsayer just yet, but I'm starting to get Lilith's Throne vibes here. We're not here yet, though. Not until Thresh starts making statements about refocusing on x or y to make updates come faster; or that some feature was holding updates up, and it's removal will speed things up...only for delays to start up again.
There were multiple delays. This time last year, Thresh was burnt out. Then he did a bunch of side stuff that comprised the updates we did get this year (Bon Bon Bun, Bubble Slime Girl, expanded Kotone's content, etc.) Then, when he started the Labyrinth... he was building a new game within the game from scratch, pushing Renpy to do something it's not really designed to do. The area will only have 4 characters, and you'll have a top-down view of the level of the maze you're on, where you are, where the MG is, the current state of certain traps... it's like a turn-based Pac-Man, and it took a long time to get working. Now he's writing for the characters, their temptation scenes, their "loss" scenes, and the trap tiles too. All of this from one dude. I'm thinking it's going to be worth the wait.

Guessing by how long it takes to release Labyrinth, maybe Threshold will release it's sooner, but looking by how long it took to make two hell hounds, I wouldn't expect anything else beside Labyrinth this year.

Balancing patches(?) revisions, reimplementations and extending of an existing characters is also possible.
i think what i and many others really want are more cgs like the ones in this post:

all ThresholdMGD needs to do is use the 2800$ he's been milking every month and hire more artist
then create folders for the cgs and insert lines into the code of the existing scenes
monthly updates with new cgs would be best

Yeah because that's all he uses the money for, not like he has bills to pay or anything of the sort. If all you care about is ART ART ART ART in a text-based game, I'd suggest you find your fap material elsewhere.

I'm used to one and two man shows having to temper their expectations, or slow down once the weight of their project catches up to them. Still, gonna be a shame if the momentum lost with this all of 4 character zone update stays lost afterword. Maybe if the gameplay of the labyrinth is fucking incredible instead of just different and difficult to implement, it'll be worth it. Not personally counting on that though, since it doesn't sound like the kind of thing that'd pique my interest in MGD as a game instead of just a smut delivery vehicle.
Remember everyone, porn game developers are not human beings - they are merely robots in which you insert money and return 1 porn unit per money.
