Sooo, new to this game and put the mari mod where it was supposed to go and everything. Then whenever I try to go adventuring it does this. I tried deleting it for a fresh start but the saves end up staying there somehow and the problem doesn't go away no matter what I do.

you'll need to clear the forest and progress a little to get at some content, even mod content, try clicking on the partially obscured forest on the left of the town itself, that should get the ball rolling.

From most of the stuff a quick cursory search has brought up, what he says is true. The general idea seems to be that due to how expensive and numerous they'd need to be, CGs are a total long term/development-end-game thing that won't be happening for a while. From an L30 post last year:

As icollectsouls stated, the long term plans do involve the game getting erotic CGs for scenes, that's why characters that appear in scenes together have their character sprites created by the same artist. This is to make certain that they remain consistent throughout their scenes and sprites whether they are alone or both in a scene together with the player.

I'm guessing you mean the lewd CG, which I do plan to add later on, hopefully at least 1 per enemy, with bosses and named characters getting more/priority.

I don't know if the plan has changed or not since then, but this is what I could find on the subject of CGs at least, so I'd recommend either waiting patiently for the time to maybe come or wielding the magical and mystical powers of imagination to help things cumcome sooner.

Well, shame on me for not noticing the tag but found another way to bait players i suppose.
But damn is it that hard to use the same art to create erotics or is this artist one of those people

But seriously though, most of the dialogue in the first area is repeating the same thing over and over. They could have kept it concise, I am not saying its scummy but the dev wanted to make the dialogue dense for effect just because its text based?
Will all the dialogue be like this continuing forward after the first dungeon or does it have the same thing as too much dialogue just to tell the same thing when it can done concisely. I need to know and what is with it not having a log when there is so much dialogue( I dont care what you think but it feels like too many stupid decisions made by the dev)
P.S: the penalties for actions and decisions are too severe in my opinion.

Regarding CGs for lewd scenes they would be nice sure, but I'd prefer to have nude sprites for the girls who don't have them yet first, to make them consistent with the ones who have the layered sprites.

Maybe i was quick to judge this game since it was a text based but the game might be pretty playable with a few cheats of course.
And not all hope is lost but damn the models need to be more scanty.
Edit: YEah people giving me a face palm know that not everybody likes everything done every other way to be liked by everybody. That aside this may not be so bad and i did say i judged it a little quick.
You need to understand my frustration because of the models not having erotica since they are so damn fine and i felt like it was a waste. You would be an idiot to not realize that and the fact that these models can be easily altered to be in some porn albeit the requirement of skill and time. I should also be understanding of any setbacks or difficulties, so maybe sorry.

(literally the first sentence), so I dont know what to tell you. Most of the cg's are done on commission anyway I believe.

Not sure what dialogue you are referring to when you say "dialogue is repeated". Aside from battle lines in combat, most characters have plenty of unique lines and dialogue options. Enemies will even have different lines based on what stance they defeated you in or were defeated in etc. Gonna have to be more specific on that one chief.

I did not say i didn't like, just haven't played many and find it taxing to use imagination( needs a specific mindset and mood for that). Fair enough, i knew i had to point it out- what i am talking about is when npc's start talking or explain some things they go into too much detail and repeat the same concept and words as if we are 5 year olds that cant keep our focus or understand something if we are not told repeatedly( but could be text based thing for clarity and such) like when you ask the guild master about something trivial or ask to explain something or other characters some info. But since i played a few nore hours i noticed it isn't that bad after the starting area( its just a starting area info dump kind of thing).

Also my mistake my head mostly notices the tags(first few) and cover along with images, since most overviews are either non informative or straight up irrelevant stuff or starting scenario( not to mention i might sometime browse while being addled)

Threshold is a writer, not an artist. all of the art in this game is commissioned via fundings from the Patreon. If his erotica isn't sufficient to satisfy you, there are other, more visual titles throughout this site you can turn to. Being a DIK is fun if you like frat humor. Holiday Island has some well rendered CGs. Corrupted Kingdoms might work for you if you're looking for something in an anime style.

TL;DR: The maker of this game is fine with erotic art, but that's not where his skills lie.

He wasn't insulting you mate. He was sharing his opinion on some good game with an art style you might prefer.
If the problem is with the DAZ models maybe have a look at games like Legend of Queen Opala? It's 2D art in a Fantasy RPG set in Egypt (at least the first part). From what I remember, I found the later games less enjoyable as their sex content relies more heavily on bestiality.

I was literally listing the other titles on this site I've tried and enjoyed, all of which have CGs. You don't have to get sarcastic because I pointed out that you downloaded a game tagged "Text based" with "Text based" in the first sentence of the description and then posted to whine about how much TEXT there was in it.

Fair enough but the gist of the matter is i got hyped looking at the art and actually i got so much hyped that i have memes of this stored in my hard drive and i did not bother with overview and jumped in straight to experience it with so many expectations, not realizing i was setting myself up for a letdown because it did not have any C.G. Great game anyway.
