Make sure you visit the church regularly and pay off your sensitivities... I used to keep my Ass and Monstrous fetishes high (because they are realistic... I mean, that's absolutely me), but hey made some fights much harder than they needed to be. Keep your fetishes low and that should help.
Advancing the relationship is what lets you convert the "slave" perk into the "lover" one. I don't know what happens if you ask her to remove it completely, I've never tried that.

How much Spirit do you have? At that level you might lose one or two but you can beat the girls (iirc... it's been a long time since I was in double-digit levels).
Buy Fairy Dust from Amber (and possibly the Fairy Circle Ring accessory as well) against paralysis, and have a plan to deal with the lizzies. They're fairly sensitive to Pain and Seduction moves, so if you can deal that kind of damage, you should be able to deal with them pretty swiftly.
If you mean the "Skip read text" feature, I'm afraid not. MGD has modified Ren'Py's standard functionalities to the point that features such as this one no longer work.
Spamming mass seduction is also a good strategy.

Each update comes with a changelog (which you can find wherever the game is available, be it itch.io, Patreon, Discord, or Subscribestar) which lists the new content, in addition to any fixes, balance tweaks, and such. This should let you see easily what's new and where it is.
That's under consideration, but it is a Whole Thing, so it's remained on the backburner for now.
The Capital is a whole area with multiple sub-areas, characters, events, etc. It's getting fleshed out a little more with every release, but given its scope, there's still a lot to go through.
I was fairly low level (forgot what it was, but every fight was challenging if I decided to shut brain off and spam), but using a defense+aphrodisiac build and carefully managing mana and buffs made me stay low level and catch up to the game.
Threshold releases monthly updates. It might feel like small updates at times, but it's because there's a lot of writing and other behind-the-scene stuff.
I found slapping anti-paralysis on every available slot really helped- the next big obstacle for me was the labyrinth, with my 0-run build against the snake cunt (hate her).
