Based on a quick scan of the game files, it appears to be about 22/78 in terms of win/loss scenes. Just how accurate that is, I can't say though.

I don't think it's right to just view the adult content in terms of direct events.

Combat itself is also the sexual content.
It's why Mika says she's a switch, and specifically says, if you want to lead then ask to Spar. If you ask for sex on its own, she'll just ride you. Unless you progress your relationship enough, then you can choose vaginal and mating press her into a mess. But yeah, it's fight her to lead, and the anal reverse cowgirl event on its own would be the female assertive scene.

Not all events are in terms of winning and losing scenes either.
There are consensual events in the game and they're all over the place. Like most of the Inn scenes, and the romance scenes. For instance, you can bend Trisha the lesser succubus over a table and rail her instead of eating her poisoned food, and stay dominant the whole time.

And there are also enemies like Alraune, and Matango that have a strong preference for their partner leading. They don't initiate anything, but do temptation. You go and ram them for their pleasure.

Of course this goes both ways.
There are non-combat events that are female assertive as well.

I'm just saying if you take the experience of the game as a whole, it's pretty ridiculous to consider this game 90% femdom. Due to the content it elevates playing naturally, it has quite the strong maledom feeling if you choose them of course. Beating and domming every girl you come across, then assaulting the girls who want more after you're done winning.

I argue the best maledom doggystyle in the game isn't even in an event.
It's Ceris' temptation doggy event that happens in her battle.

Your example is wrong. If you pass the trap you can then attack both elves, and start a battle.
There are also traps that make the MC lead like the gas traps from matango.

MC passes a trap, hot elves near you get trapped in their own trap (laid out to attack the MC) and MC can either cut them down with a (figuratively) headpat and go without anything kinky happening or keep them hanging and go without anything kinky happening.

The only two options given are what I'd expect as afterthought options given if a player might not be in the mood to fool around with two hot elves. Bound in their own trap. Meant for the player. For lewd purposes.

Game is progressing at snail pace for six years and there is zero indication of a deadline, clear goals (already forgot what the main quest even was) etc. Probably tiny updates every few months for the next years until developer quits.

We are talking different things here. I was not questioning the stuff he might be wrong about. Just agreeing to a thing I noticed as well. You do as you say with the passing reflex check; but not with passing the int check. That one that lets them get caught in their own trap:

There have been optimization improvements a bit ago which should have in theory fixed most of that.
Though there might be other factors too.

MGD bypasses a lot of Renpy's functionality for making the game mod compatible.

Does Threshold give any indication of things being worked on on the Discord? I used to sub on patreon up until a couple years ago but stopped and it really looks like it was the right decision because there's been almost nothing added to the game since then.

Ye I do, and I would say that would definitely depend on what you define as 'nothing' added to the game given the changelogs and cont.

I hope there's an option to organize the inventory eventually, at least for consumables. It's all over the place in my save.

It's on the todo list for the near future.

I just checked out Dark Perpetua's fight in the Labyrinth and lost on purpose, to see how was the game over scene like, to see what was all the fuss of "perma-death" about... but given it was a simulation, it took me back to the church.

It only does that on the first encounter because story things.

Well my prior thoughts for when I'd be done were very far off the mark apparently, so I haven't really tried to figure out how long the overall project will take given how dang big this thing is.

I know exactly the end goal of the main story and side content, and there is foreshadowing in the game for a number of things that have been there for a long time.
If you forgot where things are going though that's not exactly my fault?

The last 3 months have each had an update with a myriad of different things, and while QoL focused they are still important updates, there was also both the Beris CG and Imp CGs showing I needed new infrastructure for them to even work correctly, that I then added for their respective updates, and will have far less related issues moving forward.
I have 0 intention of quitting, I have the fullest of intentions to finish this project.
