Yes it does, but the market share doesn't justify it for a small creator like myself when there is already a perfectly valid workaround. It might seem like some small effort on my part to just do it, but I can assure it there is more to it then just check the box and export.without proton or wine?
Unity can export native linux binary.
The name is fine. You can open the save location through the game. When you start it go into the options and click open save location, it will open the folder you need to copy the save to.
