There was an organization called Collective Shout that was mostly blamed for lobbying the payment providers and companies to drop nsfw content, which then forced publishers like Itch to choose between getting any money at all or losing an admittedly minor market. The same thing happened with OnlyFans, except they were smart enough to realize that was like 90% of their income so they couldn't drop it.

I dunno if Collective Shout is entirely to blame here, the card provider companies have been doing stuff like this for years, this is just the first time they hit everyone instead of little fetishes and shit.

I do think they're pawns, but so are the card providers. There's something more going on, and it's definitely not about whether we should be allowed to know what sex is. This is a control thing. All I know is that these 'no sex' sentiments benefit abusers more than anyone else. Can't call out abuse if you don't know what sex is even supposed to look like in fantasy.

That's a loaded question honestly. There's stuff that isn't out yet and wont be for a while that I'm counting in this. This is a development progress list, not a released progress list. Various reasons for that, but that's a whole other tangent.
-Map is like 90%-95% done.
-Story is probably like halfway done? It's hard to tell cause some stuff may get shrunk or expanded in scope.
-We will add more side quests as time goes on, but there is no set number for those so I can't estimate
-Finished monsters include Amanita, Harpy, Cat, Merchant, Sphinx, Moth, Pangolin, Sheep, Slime Mother, White Oni
-Monsters that will be finished between now and just after new year 2026 include Dryad, Raptor, Lamia, Lizard (and potentially wendigo but that's not a promise.)
-Monsters we will most likely finished in 2026 include Cow, Centaur, Shark, Tanuki, Fennec
-Publicly confirmed monster that have all their basic art done (pose, outfits, emotions, etc) but lack events include Spider, Minotaur, Bat, Mantis, Cactus, Frog.
-We also have writing work done for several monsters that are not even listed here.
-Code work is basically done beyond things like story stuff.

We make very steady reliable content at a pace that matches funding. We also do big updates that are worked on in the background so that regular content isn't interrupted. See the City update for example, that took months of work but we didn't skip a beat when it came to delivering the normal stuff.

How long will it take to finish though, I have no idea.

To be clear right off the bat, no we do not have loli in the game. We specifically avoid that in fact. If a monster is short, they have bush and larger sized tits. Only monsters with smaller tits are the very tall monsters.
