I see what you're doing, I just don't understand the why.

Presumably people who didn't like MGQ aren't going to like this one either. Fans of MGQ will probably just play that or Paradox. Who is the audience for this?

If you're going to spend the time and effort to develop a game, why not make your own? Even if your original game is bad, it's better than explicitly copying a successful game and stealing all their assets.

Not sexist so much as by definition:
>>

That would also include females raping males though, so in the definition of 'rape' both forms are vaild AFAIK. But to seperate genres, the 'reverse rape' tag can be useful.

if i would want to raise my message count i would be way more active and reply a way lot more in every single topic out there. The way i see it I did make a constructive I told you the engine was crap, so remnaking it in another engine would have been better. Then again why would one to remake the original, the only reason to do so is to add stuff that wasn't there. RPGM is not the answer that usually is only adding playtime in the form of a walking simulator, like every other RPGM dev has done out there, censoring is also something of not adding to the game. I'll watch this cause i like MGQ, but I am not liking it so far
Saying "RPGMaker is shit" is a constructive reply/opinion? Wow. You sure have a very different concept of "Explaining how things could be/should be done to help the devs", really.

I began this game for myself. I liked the MGQ, but I was really desappointed with part 3. Then I saw how much things could be improved, how many plotholes exist. and how much potential that game had. So I began developing it. It arrived to a point in which I had a pretty good demo, and need some feedback to proceed. And here we are.

I didn't try to make my own game because, there are tons of games out there, I would require an artist to draw things, since I can't draw. With this remake, I already had access to the assets. Even if I try to begin a game and try make a patreon, I would still need to invest money to commission some CGs, and sincerely I'm not a good h-writer, so that's why I discaded the idea.

What I'm aiming here is to make an improved version of MGQ for the fans of the original say something like: that's the definitive version; or something like, that's is what Torotoro should have done. Isn't that the main reason fan remakes are done? Isn't that why people made AM2R? I also think that people who would like MGQ but don't like to play visual novels (many people don't even consider visual novel as games) would be able to appreciate this good story if made in an RPG Maker.

Any link to the source of this game? I'd really like to know more about this game and who's being it, so I can follow him.
Also I love RPGM games. ^_^
You mean MGQ by torotoro or the remake? The developer of the remake is me. and the main source is right here on F95.

That was just.. a "Saying", don't know which word I can use and I know that you didn't say it, but basically it's what that means, your reply.

Anyway, let's cut this off topic shall we? It's not "healthy" for the thread.

I am a little confused as to the audience for this game. Do you plan on having new art and new enemies or just a faithful recreation of the original?

The game's been pretty good so far, (I gotta appreciate having some human enemies for a change!) but the combat seems to slow down whenever the enemies use their special moves ie slime heaven, maybe have the icon go by quicker would help solve this?

There are a few spelling errors, and a couple of graphical ones too. But all in all, this is a definently a cool creation here!

Now, I haven't played the game myself, but played the original 3, but could you point out some of these "plotholes" of the original you keep on saying that ruined the original?

For me, the original isn't a perfect game by all means, but the story is pretty good for what I played. Now, like you said, I did thing that part 3 was weird turn of events, but I wouldn't say that it ruined the whole game. The aspect of part 3 was that it gave the people hating Monsters a reason to unite and fight a common foe.

Now it terms of combat, for me the switch to RPGM is a rational choice, but if I read what you wrote right, again I haven't played yours yet, you incorporated elemental attacks? Shouldn't that wait until the part where you get the spirits? Giving luka elemental attacks without the spirits outta no where?

Now in terms of engine, people just don't know how to make a great game with RPGM, but if you use the right scripts it'll be a good game like with Roundscape Ardovia is going.

Lastly, what kind of changes will you make to the original? Because without explicitly explaining what those changes are you'll definitely going to get flank because people will assume the worst due to the Original having such a cult following.

gonna download this and try it. the RPGM engine is not really a bother to me, the original game was very very basic in its control so even a slightly better combat system with the story intact would be a nice change. honestly I just wanna see more stuff from the game world that i fell in love with (for more than just porn too)

Oh, man, from where I begin?
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

There is more, but I will at that for now. I will address everyone on the game. As of elements, if you look back I said elemental attack items. There are attack items on the game as well as crafting for such items, that's how Luka will be able to fight strong monsters.

It's hard say all the changes from the head, but I assure you that they aren't too big, the story will flow as it did, most details, additions, closing plotholes.[/SPOILER]

Please point those erros to me, so I can correct them. English isn't my first language, so there will be many of those.

About the combat, few enemies have special attacks. but if for you it's too slow, I can try change that. I'm glad you are liking. Also you gonna see that monster girls have much more health than normal enemies, be very careful with your items. You will need them. Meditation only comes on Sentora (not implemented yet) and won't be used during combat, so strategy with your items is mandatory. At least from Sentora onward, there is the learning curve, so you should be able to beat this part without using attack or defensive items or grinding.
