The hidden twist is that Ilias was right about monsters the whole time, she just didn't take into account that angels are just different kinds of monsters too.

It's hard to say how much blame you can really put on Luka for how he turned out though, his dad went out for milk and never came back, his mom decided to make her impressionable son into a vessel for her dying wish to be nice to monsters, and the goddess he worships was the direct cause of orphaning him. He was practically destined to end up as damaged as he turned out to be. Then you throw in Alice with him, and he starts taking to heart points like the first one you raise about the Harpy Village conflict, and the implications about the future of co-existence by the end of the game looks like the beginning of a dystopian nightmare for humans.
To be fair... At that rate, humans would be severely out-bread into at least Demi-humans, there are literally too many different races competing in the gene pool, and humans, in as of current, are the weakest of the bunch.
In just a few generations, each new-human should have enough monster (or angel?) blood in them to even out some of the differences, and then it would homogenize enough for the issue to fall back to the more general lines we have even in our current society; country borders being more important than racial differences.

Paradox world as of current (by the way haven't finished any route yet) seems like it's close enough to such a society (since humans at least can more widely use spells and cooler moves), but there would still need to be a few decades, even centuries, until the humans wouldn't be such Race underdogs.

You need to clear the game if you want to use Chaos Equip.
> Be me.
> Played through a non-LoC save for the achievement
> Got tired of "Struggling" (I did get the Superboss on Monster World route so not as much struggling), want to revel in a bit of mindless grind on my main, LoC-done save
> Got literal hundreds of +30~ish equips, ready to steam the fuck and roll the hell out of the game
> No LoC equip shows as equippable
> Literally all my characters are buck-naked
> I even converted some of the Post-Collab char's unique equipment into LoC versions (they are also not equippable yet)
> ....

At least I got an America's worth of Gems from LoC that I can use :D
(And 1 LoC Recruit, 1-2 unique Skills, 1-2 unique Abilities)

While this is completely true, the narrative itself doesn't really show that, luka is disgustingly naive and mentally 'healthy' throughout, add onto the numerous deaths aswell

Ah, Harpy Village. Truly, One of the most well crafted subplots of the original game. Who could forget such classic moments like

  • When Alice told the villagers they were just as bad as the people kidnapping and enslaving half the village's population,
  • Or said sex slaves being completely fine with this treatment and never seeing their families again because bird pussy, I guess,
  • And the two villages integrating with minor family drama that fizzles out in a few months, as opposed to the 30 years of strife and conflict you'd expect from sloppily cramming raiders and their victims into the same settlement.
Like you said, glad we skipped this mess in Paradox. Though I will say the game's at its worst when it backs up the worst plot points from its predecessor. Like that alt universe Luka who lost his convictions forever because he didn't suicidally charge at Granberia like in the OG story. That was dumb.

My eternal thanks to you and Neim, for suffering in my stead. Glad I dropped this game before sunk cost could set in.
Porn games be porn games, The men liking it was just turned into some slapstick comedy, because why wouldnt it be funny, being kidnapped from your family and raped for days where your pleasure doesnt actually matter only your semen does, great stuff :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
But seriously, the reason paradox is an improvment to the original iss because it straight up removes everything bad, it doesnt fix it, but completely wipes it clean. Luka's god awful sspeeches and stupidity? Just have him talk less! This is in no way an actual solution to anything, but who cares amirite?
And they replaced it with the mosst ridicilous and boring stuff ever. Cosmic plot which decides the fate of everything? THROW THE FUCKING MINOR AT IT.

"Luka come to our side, because you for some reason are a magnum opus that can end this war ".
"Actually luka, i was secretly one of the beings which represents entropy and destruction, no build up or reason? you silly rascal!" (i dare one of you to say 'illias thought she was weird' as if that actually counts as anything).
"The paradox world is very important, if it dies then everything die- actually nvm, who gives a fuck, lets just kill a bunch of people, like ALL the people. Why? To fuse them into one version of themslves of course! Cause uhhhh, the queen said so!".
FUCK this game just gets me pissed of. Yeah no problem man, leave and never return, run like the wind without looking back, watch a playthrough if you have to. :KEK:

Sadly im too deep in, remember me

(You'll still be able to Re-use them after finishing any route (and from NG+ onwards; so including the 3rd Route) )
Invest in the Gems market, shit pays out dividends right after Za Greatz Decisionu.
Also you can still use all unique Skills you got and Abilities, so not that much of a waste, all things considered (but still balanced so that you're not basically OP just because our previous endgame was end of Part 2, when now it's end of Part 3.
Here's more from the translation team:

> Fixed a bug that was causing the game to crash whenever monsters found in certain Third Route dungeons tried to join the player's party.
> +More skill+ability translations restored, updated, corrected, and some translated.
By the way, a Tip for people who want to constantly keep up-to-date with the Translations, but are annoyed by the Patch Time (or Mod the game, like me, and don't want to lose their modifications each time):

You don't have to actually Patch all files each time (in the "Translation Files" folder)! The only files needed, each time, are:
- The actually-modified files that you want updated (they are usually specified per each Commit in their Bitbucket, check there how many files have changed from when you last updated)
- The Script folder and all the Script files (this Files NEED to remain, or else the game will have literally no Scripts) (No, you DON'T need to do similarly with the CommonEvents, or any other folder)

On that note, I did make my Mod for the game again (the Per difficulty modifier to the Exp and Gold drops; makes it so that you receive more Exp and Gold on higher difficulties), added the same multiplier per Recruitment rate (for easier, yet fair, Recruitments on higher diffs), AND made a version of the Mod as Patch Files to be added to the "Translation Files" folder. Here are the files, if they are of help:

How much of part 3 is translated? I assumed it would take years to translate but it sounds like a lot of people are pretty far into it.
no actual human translation but an Mtool translation that give you and "ok" translation until the end of the game. Some people use different machine translation with better working but most of them are better because you need to have the paid version.

That cause they're using the machine translation, the manual one however, only menu items and skills are being done first i think, wjo can actually know how long it'll take? If you really want to wait, dont expect anything lesss than a year

Is there a way to download the patch from October? The newer version completely broke the demo version and I can't see the new scenes in the demo any more.

I keep telling myself that I'd like to dive into this game, but I'm ironically turned off by how deep it is (seemingly, on the surface. I know it probably isn't actually that deep), and how it feels a bit herculean trying to sit down and play it lol

For me it's the grind. Any game that forces me to grind and repeat the exact same process for hours and hours is always a turn off to me. So I'm thankful that there's a cheat that allows me to instant reach max level on everything so that my brain can go have fun focusing on things that actually requires strategy instead of inflated numbers (my god do I wish more devs realize that horizontal progression is much better than vertical progression).

How can I purchase the game legit on DLSite? None of the payment options are usable, and I can't use any of the payment options to buy points. You could always use paypal, but it seems to be completely removed.

Does anyone have advice?

Goddamn this game is long and have so many stuffs to do, took me a whole week and had to cheat to finally reached the end of part 2. The story.... is truly great but hard to track with the Paradox thingy, but man.... I choose Ilias route because I thought she was a cute (didn't play the OG) but now right before the Great Decision I don't know if I should stuck with her anymore, her past action are so messed up I feel regretted to not follow Alice instead (Heinrich really have it rough)
Maybe I will choose the Time Loop to start NG+ because I accidently softblocked myself and can't get Hero of Justice proof to have more jobs, shouldn't have meet Lazarus before completing Justice Kaiser and now can't even have Eva in team

For those wondering how viable it is to just go through part 3 with MTool machine translating for you, my honest advice is just don't.

For those who are coming at this from wanting to experience Part 3's gameplay, this will be a sisyphean trial of endless frustration as Part 3 not only hyper inflates enemy stats, but also makes changes in combat that you'll have to adjust to as well. Throw in MTool on top of that, and you'll run into crashes more often than a newly released Bethesda game, fucking you over in battles and resetting your progress constantly. By the time you've rage quit Part 3 from that experience, you'll be wishing the game had a Quicksave hotkey for all the time spent constantly saving your progress to lose as little time between crashes as possible. It's a RPGMaker game, not exactly the cutting edge of innovative gameplay. The only thing keeping me sane between attempts at further progressing in Part 3 is brief visits to Factorio and Starsector to bleed away the frustrating limitations of RPGMaker turn-based combat.

If you want to experience Part 3 for the story through MTool, my advice would be to just ask in spoiler tags on here for any story elements you're curious about. Multiple people here have already bum-rushed through Part 3, either through sheer perseverance through the crashes or sheer luck from not getting as many as I have. If you absolutely have to play the game yourself and experience the gist of the story that way, my advice is thus: Cheat. Set the difficulty as low as possible, and cheat like you're playing Russian Roulette with all the chambers loaded. And know that even while doing so, playing through this will still feel like a kick in the dick, because you will get stuck, get lost, lose progress, lose time and lose sanity.

how? you can still accept the Kaiser's quest after meeting Lazarus, after that go to the desert near the slum and find Eva's tent, talk to her and defeat her to recruit her, pretty sure meeting lazarus first or not doesn't change anything, I actually started collecting unique companions AFTER finishing part 2(which requires you to meet Lazarus) and I can still recruit Eva nonetheless

Stick with it. From what I have read, you need to do both Angel World and Monster World routes to get the Chaos Route anyways.

Skill issu

But as an MTool player, I recommend using a Game-Boosting program of your choice (personally I chose Razer Cortex) to optimize the PC performance during running of the game.

Also, while it's good to generally save as often as possible, the game does actually autosave after each Fought Battle. So long as, after a crash, you load the Autosave first, you will lose less progress if the crash happened around a fight-heavy part.
(Do keep in mind to load the Autosave first; if you load the normal save by mistake first, the game will then auto save at that point instead)
