ya monsters can use the eyes skills like succubi i dont really think there anything a normal human can do versus that
Demon eyes/status ailments skills, Sex/pleasure magick, camouflage, superhuman durability and strength and speed, soul manipulation, life drain etc. They're OP as heck in a normal human world.

Well, they are normal people, how can they fight against a succubus? Same goes for the other Collab game "Succubus Prison", thats why the "hero" from that world is already dead during the collab scenario.
Idk maybe the same way luka does in the collab perhaps? At least in succubus prison I imagine there's an actual "win condition" that doesn't involve your own death it wouldn't be hard to make succubus academia into another game where you can "win" without dying.

Also you say "they're regular dudes" but that's by design. They could just as easily make it the succubi could be resisted if the men actually have strong willpower or something as I suggested earlier. You know how much of a coomer the average guy is so they'd still be a threat but they wouldn't be an automatic insta loss tier threat and the game wouldn't revolve around giving these serial killers a satisfying kill.

Exactly, Is even difficult for adventurers and other heroes in MGQ to fight the succubi.
There is nothing ordinary humans can do.
Even at the end of the Time Loop Event the MC of Succubus Prison cannot escape and re-enters the house where he will have certain death.
This is done because otherwise there would be a time paradox plus the devs love people getting drained to death.

There isn't, even when it looks like there is. The entire point point of Succubus Prison is: regular people can't win. Exceptional humans may be able to do something (there's some clues that Vinum used to be involved with such a person in the past and kind of wishes she could find another one) but the MC of that game definitely isn't exceptional is any capacity. Other collab heroes are exceptional (sometimes inhuman/superhuman) so against them the trio can only approach the level of fear they evoke in their own game under very specific, engineered cicumstances.

All three suffer from being rather flat characters, I think. MGQ has its share of predatory and dangerous succubi but even the most outwardly evil ones like Morrigan aren't that bad when you get to know them more. You never get to know the trio more (and they aren't interested in migling any more than necessary anyway), which is effective in their home game but becomes "really evil and inexplicably powerful succubi" in Paradox.

Damn that fucking sucks then. I figured based on the collab that they protagonist would be able to find the path to find all the items and get out. Some people in this thread seem to think that succubi (fictional creature) should be the same in every universe and autokill regular dudes but honestly you can just write them to be weaker than that. There's tons of dudes out there (player included) who are willing to die for sex scenes so the temptation VS willpower thing is enough really. All the succubi need is to make you horny.

On the note of "All three suffer from being rather flat characters" I do agree they seem pretty one dimensional to me and I guess it's because the devs didn't even bother with that because they wanted people to 100% die because it's their fetish. Having any semblence of a chance through characters resisting through willpower or using magic items or convincing the succubi to not actually kill them would provide the player with an actual "success" scenario which is obviously something the devs don't want.

I mean even off the top of my head if the devs want to maintain the power level of succubi to be "instant unavoidable death" tier for some reason then I feel like you could at least convince them that killing people will eventually lead to people knowing about the "murder house" where people disappear. Even if the succubi can change their appearence people could start wearing cameras like cops which would provide live footage making it impossible for them to eat anymore. This is why it would make more sense to drain a lot of life but not kill victims because men are more than willing to donate most of their lifeforce and then go regenerate it again and this doesn't leave a trail of dead bodies leading back to the succubi.

I feel like in fiction the most successful succubi are the ones that coexist with humans like the ones in succubus village. The succubus village (and lady village) makes sense because we're all monster girl fuckers here so as long as it's consentual and nobody gets killed people won't care.

I just had a random thought about Part 3's development time. MGQ Parts 1-3 and MGQ Paradox Parts 1&2 were released within a 6 year window. That's about the same length of time Paradox Part 3 has been in development so far. Really gives you perspective on the scale of this thing.

Think again, part 1 came out in 2015 and part 2 in 2017

When part 3 of the VN came out paradox part 1 it had already been in development for a while.
I'm sure that when paradox part 1 came out part 2 had already been in development for a few months.

I thought the exact same thing as you but actually the release dates imply there was only a two year gap between part 1 and 2 if we ignore the collab update. Apparently the common route up to the great choice will be 5-8 hours. The angel route will be 30-50 hours and the dark goddess route will also be 30-50 hours. Incredibly important to note that apparently there will be no duplicate girls on either route which partially goes to explain the immense time taken along with the fact that they're pretty much almost entirely ran out of girls from the original game to use as filler. There's only a few that I can think of which means most girls in part 3 will be new content.

Plus it's heavily implied that there will be a third route too. Idk if it'd release at the same time as the other routes but that's also probably going to take a lot of time too. Overall, knowing the scope of part 3 I think more than 6 years is fairly reasonable and I doubt we'll be getting it any time soon. My random guess is that maybe they'll release it in another 4 years time and then it will take a year or two for a translation to be made. I mean hell technically even the translation we have right now is missing a lot of the battle dialogue text and text for giving gifts.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a 3rd route. I think the only concern I have is Part 3 will be so huge, it'll be overwhelming.

I think by the time it ends up getting released I'll probably have to start a NG+ because I may have forgotten some of the finer details. I mean I just finished part 2 recently and I haven't even finished masturbating to all the porn scenes lmao. I wonder how long they'll last me.

Oh and I almost forgot I wonder if they're actually going to add more porn scenes for the main girls. I mean alice only got 1 more scene and the spirits got zero new porn scenes. Which is surprising in some ways but in other ways I see that they want to have more girls which is probably why there's less. Speaking of scene I've noticed a trend with certain artists fetishes. Like one dude who draws in the chibi art style (mermaids, nuruko) really likes paizuri and some girls ONLY have paizuri with nothing else. The artist that does Sonya

. I guess each artist has some creative freedom when choosing what sort of scenes they want to do and I imagine because of part 3's scope there will be new artists (maybe some from the time loop event) and I wonder what sort of content they will bring to the table. Out of all the artists there's only really one if find to not be to my taste but the rest are really nice so my hopes are high.

MGQ Part 1 came out in 2011. MGQ Paradox Part 2 came out in 2017.

2011 - 2017. That's 6 years.
Dont see how non paradox dates (2011-2013) have anything to do with paradox (2015-2017-2023)

that is 4 years between MGQ part 1 and part 1 of paradox anyway it was already announced for this year, most likely september-december at this point.

Because I'm talking about the whole MGQ series, not just Paradox. We got 5 Monster Girl Quest games in the time it's taken Part 3 to release since the last game launched. I think that's an interesting perspective on the scale of Paradox Part 3.

You misread or misunderstood what he said, he is right about the 6 years total, Let me try to rephrase what he said. Basically he said since MGQ 1 (visual novel) 2011 all the way to MGQP part 2 (2017) took 6 years to develop MGQ 1-2-3 / MGQP 1- 2, which is insane because PART 3 here took 6 years too.

All he was saying is that this last part took as long to make as all the other games combined.

MGQ Part 1 -Released in March 2011
MGQ: Paradox Part 2 - Released in July 2017

5 Games over the course of 6 years.

Me every time I come across this game:
"I should play this again, I haven't played since version 2.23 back in December 2020."
.....
"Ah but I'll probably just use the imps again, they carried me through fights I shouldn't have been able to beat normally."
"There probably hasn't been much content added."
"Eh, the class system took a while to autistically breakdown to exactly what I want."
"I should play with Ilias this time but you just can't beat Alice."
"Level lock... Bleh"
"I had 120 hours of playtime?! I don't think I can do that again."
"Part 3 is still far far away, so I'll be restarting from a new game at that time anyways as a refresher."
