I think it's still very much relevant. The conversation started around using AI models to translate the game and similar projects. Naturally, that evolved into a broader discussion about the potential, limitations, and future of AI in translation. Some argue that AI will never be reliable enough to operate independently without human oversight, but all I’ve done is suggest that AI’s potential to do so is within the realm of possibility, not impossibility. So while the topic may have expanded, it's still tied to the original point about AI's role in translation.
Just as much as ANY other untranslated game out there. You can do same discussion in any of the other topics. Unless you plan to do AI/MTL translation for part 3 all this talk just adds several pages of unrelated stuff directly to this topic.

When part 3 hits, it should be made into a different thread altogether and this one closed. Post 1 is way past due overhaul of correcting messy or outdated info that none of the staff want to fix.

Hello friends! I just heard of the good news! I cannot believe Part 3 is coming out in less than a month, it feels surreal to say the least, crazy how it all started back before I even went to university with MGQ part 2, and then many years later came Paradox, and nearly a decade later it is time for Part 3, it's insane!

I would like to ask a couple of things as my memory is really hazy on the matter - can I combine the translated part 1 + 2 to Part 3 so that it includes all H-scenes and such? If not, can I still transfer my translated Part 1+2 completed run to Part 3? I wonder if there will be any conflicts since it is a translated game save file being migrated to an untranslated one.

Cheers!

You'll be able to combine them again.

Another question, I landed with my ship right in front of a building tile (Navy HQ) I could enter (meaning that when I try to get into my ship, I enter the building instead). How can I access my ship? I have forgotten if there is a key that auto respawns your ship or if I need to do something else?

I sincerely hope none of the translators do this. I'd rather have a quality translation than a rushed MTL-with-extra-steps one. If I want MTL I can do it myself.
I agree with this!

It's been quite a while since I played H-RPGs myself, but when I was checking out my collection a few hours ago, I saw one of the folders for MTool by AdventCirno.

So, in hindsight, I quickly realized that it is actually no problem if the translators took several months or years to properly and manually translate the whole part 3, alongside any of the leftover parts, if any, from Parts 1-2.

Folks who really want to get into the game ASAP can just use MTool to quickly get into it.

And also, maybe to try and learn JP language too (self-study or otherwise, alongside waiting for the full translation, and make a little fun race game between them learning the language and the translators translating the game lol).

Then perhaps use the game as a sort of "learning through exposure" when it comes to reading, writing and understanding JP language, since Monmusu Quest is pretty much a novel at this point.

Downside (or upside?) is that they'll also learn how to say, read and write a bunch of Degen stuff in Japanese (now they can go to that kawaii Japanese Girl at the back of the class and flirt with her as Filthy Frank would have it, tentacles, fluffy tails and lamia tails/tongue and all). :KEK::WeSmart:

The funny part is, I wonder if MTool program will survive the amount of text of Part 3, it would be interesting to try and find out if it will break or not lmao :KEK:

It won't work, Mtool bugged out on a significantly smaller game I tried to translate, part 3 is gonna be 6-7G if not more. Unless the creator updates the tool, cause they do update constantly but the updates are not for load management. So we shall see, but the current version won't be able too :s
I really hope I'm wrong, cause while I too want a proper well made translation but it's gonna take a millenia and I want to play as soon as possible. Worst case maybe somebody else will drop a half assed temporary patch.

mtool won't even work with a game this size, it's max translating limit is 50 MB

Indeed, though fortunately AdventCirno constantly updates it so I really hope they will also take MGQ Paradox Part 3 into consideration when updating the Mtool. Or maybe people can suggest to them and let them know about the MGQP Part 3 and maybe they will be able to make changes to accommodate the game.

That or some third-party folk somewhere who has access to, and the knowhow for, AI translation suddenly comes out with a patch, like a temporary "bandaid" measure for people who really want to get into the game ASAP and "scratch that itch", while waiting for the proper, manual EN patch to complete. We shall see. XD

Seriously? just a reminder, this is what she looks like if you were misremembering

I might be the weird one, but I'm gonna be honest, Lamiaroid is actually one of my most favorite Xelvy monster girls (Xelvy has WORSE, like, totally unfuckable girls body composition-wise lmao).

I mean, she can be totally gross especially that scene where she really opens her mouth, but if I am to talk about her charms... just... look at that Twintails Hairsytle! That hairstyle turns me on a lot, and her BJ scene is one of the most erotic in the game (well at least before she opens her mouth hahaha).

It's quite a "guilty pleasure" of mine to fap to that BJ scene she has. :HideThePain:

im pretty sure that advencirno actually is a mgq paradox fan as they have multiple pictures of it as display examples so chances are that they are informed. the only question, are they going to update their tool to allow it to be translated and if so then how would they do it without making it insanely laggy?
