On that other note, yeah. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing, plot consistency-wise, but Paradox has built in plothole fillers, especially with where Luka's bloodline is considered.

TL-DR, a sort of almighty idiot like the elder gods Lovecraft thought up did it is probably the answer to almost any inconsistency related to his bloodline. Like, for instance, how the aforementioned horrible merging candidate came into existence at all.

Could you imagine if that was how it played out in this? Luka meets his brain, and it has a voice synthesizer to constantly snark at and insult him. Doesn't even want to merge with him because it would mean being a guileless idiot again.

Ok so if Im updating the older version I got from Yoloswagking's link I should delete the old one click patcher folder and then put the new one in and run the .batfile? Is that correct?

Edit* Ok that seems to have worked. The game now says ver .17 on top and everything seems to run properly

It has to do with Lucifina. In MGQ-verse there is only one absolute rule: Never question what Lucifina does. Just. Don't. Think. About. It.

Also your understanding is correct: In United World we travel with AD Lucifina, who literally caught Singularity Lucifina's soul with her bare hand, thus preventing them from merging, and then handed it to Singularity (I think merged with MR, but ain't sure) Micaela. Thus Micaela we travel with is actually in the same time Singularity Lucifina's soul, but has Micaela's personality as dominant. Also our Lucifina (and, I think, Micaela, but ain't sure) temporary merges with Lucifina-chan, but then helps recreate her and, I think, unmerges with her
