When I first downloaded a prepatched MGQP bob's mtl it came with outdated plugins that crashed the game that I had to delete so...

I'll edit it to make it more clear for those in the back

3. it just doesn't like you (random error that either can't be helped or requires someone more computer savy to help you)

considering the fact that I have similar patches and I get the same error, deleting the patch that the script references does nothing, and one of the files that the error calls for doesn't exist. The only real option is to either repatch or wait for some kind of update for bob's mtl.

My only (and possibly wrong) assumption is that it's trying to reference an icon for a certain item but due to the item's mtl name being different from what it actually has been translated to it's calling for something that basically doesn't exist leading to the error.

Damn guess its number 3 since I patch it the same way I always do and I only got the translation with nothing else. It shouldn't be clashing with any mods I have like the everyone talks since those wouldn't have anything to do with what is being interacted with.

Yeah, it's an mtl bug! Mistake was made! Thanks for reporting, it'll be fixed in the next mtl version.

I am loving the 4 spirit and 4 guardian magic swords. They feel perfect for Luka, Henrich when I get him, and especially granberia. only negative is that they are tier below personal weapons in power and granberia just so happens to turn a long time favorite greatsword into a personal weapon. Why she does that instead of using her named magic sword from the original trilogy is beyond me.

Actually its weirder when you think about the fact that the magic sword is named Ares and there is a mithra sealed castle sword of the same name which mind you wouldn't be too different from how the ancestors and arc angels use mithra sealed castle weapons but that's me going on a tangent.

I'm playing the Alice route and I cannot find most of the ancestors, where are they? I can only find Saja and Kanade in the monster lords castle, Saja in the top right and kanade guarding the teleporter stone. I need to find minagi to get the sealed orb of the seeker.

Theres a magic circle in the top left corner but it doesn't do anything when I stand on it. Where the heck are the other ancestors?!

Hello, I have a question about translating. Is there a reason why RPG maker can't open most of the part 3 locations and events when I load the whole game with bob's MTL? I want to try looking into it and try translating a bit (not into english) mostly for learning and because I really like this game series.

Game uses a trick to overcome vx ace's limit for 1000 maps. Additional maps are in Data/Map/Data folder. If you want to open them in rpg maker you can create a separate copy game folder, throw all files (maps and MapInfos) from Data/Map/Data to Data/ and open the project from that separate game folder. That way you can view them in rpg maker. Maybe there are some other possible solutions for that, but I'm not aware of such.

Also, random question but if I haven't unlocked meteorite smithing for Papi during Alice/Illias route, am I stuck out of it during the chaos route? I have tried speaking to the Illiasburg smith who smiths meteorite many times but he doesn't have the "talk" dialogue option anymore so should I assume I'm fucked?

If you really need meteorite smith for some reason and you bugged, you can try change variable or teleport(using cheese mod) to blacksmith on original map and talk.

if right at the start only two there things can change as the story advances

for orb of seeker you need to be after having retaken the Monster Lord's Castle

its kinda funny sonya rejoins with succubus trained so she can go into the guardian of the law race. The subtitle jokes/references they do with game are neat.

Hello! I'm currently on chaos route and need "Sword of memory" for goddess halo to create chaos halo. As far as i understood, it was exclusive item on illias route. Unfortunately i have missed it. Is there any chance to obtain it right now?

Monte Carlo, one of the tents. Shady merchant sells missable equipment and items from previous routes.
