It's overtuned to hell, I used to clear carnage labyrinth floor 3000+ which is the hard mode, now obviously you can't use labyritnh gear, but I know the tactics, I also played the game in Paradox mode all the way through angel and monster route, however I did struggle like crazy it was ridiculous, now Third route was impossible I had to switch to Very easy because the skills don't work, damage blocker like aqua pentagon is useless now, the bosses hit right through, you either get lucky with a dodge, or you need to be able to counter specific skills, since there are currently no guides that means dying repeatedly against bosses to figure out their moves and then pre-prepare your team, it's honestly obnoxious xD. People who cheated won't realize the insane difficulty. I think TrTr went a bit bonkers :p I don't plan on cheating though got 850+hours of fair game time. It's pretty much a matter of pride at this point XD, but yeah don't worry if you struggle it's normal.
I haven't gotten super far into part 3 yet (nearing the end of the first route), but I started a new save playing on paradox from the beginning and I haven't found it too too bad all things considered - I've never needed to do any insane amounts of grinding yet. I got pretty far into the route mostly relying on Yamato no Orochi (using a defense build with 2x shield, giant's tyranny and putting super appeal on it and super hide on my other characters to bait the attacks that hit a ton of times onto it, and it can still do at least passable damage with the snake attacks that scale off of defense), and Est of course because Est is overpowered as hell, and then mostly using a bunch of supports with psycho shield/endure/goddess' blessing/holy martyr as the rest of my team. Later on when I had more damage output I beat the Nephilim weapon superboss in tartarus by abusing sleep on it and it carries hard at this stage of the game (can often one turn KO bosses even on paradox and has 100k HP, with no need for grinding any new jobs on it). Most bosses were beaten on the first attempt so far.

Mostly the thing that bothers me is that it feels like every random encounter is the same thing as a boss fight. They have almost as much health as the bosses do, and they often are just as dangerous (sometimes moreso) than the bosses are. I can beat them.. but it's really slow (well, at least until the nephilim weapon anyway). There are a lot of bosses that are easier than some of the random encounters in their area.

That's what I said, on the third route of part 3, the damage blockers like aqua pentagon and psycho shield are bypassed by some of the bosses making them stupidly hard, not only do they ignore the blockage, but they get to attack 3 times per turn, there is one boss, won't spoil haven't beaten it yet, does over 300k damage per attack attack 4 times per turn, thus basically does 1.2M (this is on VERY EASY btw) per turn and ignores all your defenses and psycho shields, don't know if it's a bug or not, but it seems insane as fuck. It's an optionnal boss, but I want to recruit it, so have to beat it.

Quote from the MGQ discord server from the translation team:

**EDIT: Translation is merged, but we're currently working out bugs.** You might not be able to play it until they're resolved.

Get the new patcher and script files at the Bitbucket

To patch your game:
- You must first have a 3.01 copy of the base game.
- You **must** download the newest version of the One-Click Patcher (`One-Click_Patcher_v2.28.20.24.zip`) from the repository. The old one cannot access scripts from the nested maps used in the full version of Part 3.
- Follow the usual steps for patching your game with the One-Click Patcher, place it in the same folder as Game.exe, download the scripts from the Repository, go into the patcher's folder, place the scripts inside Translated Files, then run Start Patcher.bat.
- **Note that Patching will take a while.** Because in addition to Map002, three more overworld maps were added to the game. You can expect the patcher to hang for a couple minutes upon reaching the nested maps 001, 193, and 287.
And ignore the cascade of text you get when it goes throguh CommonEvents. It does that because Torotoro added unknown commands to nearly all of the CommonEvents for some inexplicable reason. The compiler is still working.

A few more things to note

- While almost all of the translation text was smoothly transferred over to the full game, there are random skill/item descriptions and events that were either skipped over or simply didn't transfer due to being overhauled or located somewhere very different (Promestein Race Changes got broken up into several CommonEvents). We're working to restore these as soon as possible.
- Pretty much all plug-ins used in the demo are functional in the full game with the exception of Job/Race Book+, which has been removed due to incompatibility.

So people know. The current translation of part 3 stops in the demo, the current patch is just so they could port it to the most recent version.
