Also to add on, the character needs to be one of their original races that can be used. Like ciphertul said. You cant count their extra add on races. The best way to tell is to use the pocket castle.
When you go to edit party > sort the members by race(press S key on keyboard) and then just pick four of those, vampire or lamia, etc.

Do all amira's quests until Kagetsumugi gives you the quest.
Does anyone know why the recollection room is missing several CGs, such as these and others? Are they temptation events and if so, does anyone have either a working combat replayer or a save close to the battle?

There is a machine translation for it. It's good enough, IMO. Sometime it uses the wrong characters' names, or uses awkward terminology. But it makes the story understandable.
