Sorry for a question that is likely common, but I am unfamiliar with forums. I'm aware that part 3 has released, but is there any translation currently out for it? If there is, how/where would I apply the TL? Thank you in advance.

There is a mtl (machine translation) corrected by human hand of part 3.
Part 1-2 are fully human translated if you play a version 2.41, and missing some fringe content if you play directly from a part 3 game folder (you are missing some combat text so really nothing serious, but if you want to play from the start I recommand to grab a version 2.41, play until the end of these part and then transfer your save folder to a part 3 folder)

Just click the exe and play. You can delete the mods and saves folder you don't want but don't delete the patch.rb.

The full human translation from a good human translation team is probably 1 year in the making so you have the choice to play with mtl or wait.

Someone gave one answer before. You can use mtool (that is already inside the most up to date version on my gofile) and use the noclip option to cross the threshold. Not sure it work but someone said that it worked for them.

Have the translations been merged yet? I remember that the combat text got fucked up along with a few other things.

If you're still in Part 2 content, it's just a difference between which recruit you get afterwards (and obviously a bit of a story change).

Story Change? I am currently at Succubus Village. Has the story changed up until then? If so, is it something that would spoil future content?

If you side with the Luddite, you get nothing. If you side with the succubus, you get a new party member.
It's inverted if you sided with Lucia.

Ah I see, Lily really wants me to "Let karma take it's course" and frankly so did I. This will be my second easiest decision in the game. (The Easiest being choosing Ilias at the beginning).

as someone who's never used mtool before, what's the process to do the fix?

Inside your game folder (if you have my most up to date version) go inside the tool folder and use the NW exe.
mtool should launch. Go in the first tab to select the game exe inside your game folder.
The game should launch.
Back on your desktop and look if mtool is launched and charging the translation by looking at the bottom left like in this picture


Wait until this process is done and nothing is on the bottom left, then click on the first tab on the top left (under the little chibi with the WA) so you can access this screen
Then you can get back to your game. The starting screen of the game is probably going to be slow and flicker on/off, it's normal. Just let the game get the normal flow before going for your save.
When you are inside your save, just get back to mtool and check the Noclip switch and try to see if it's work for you.

This is the same process for everybody who want to access mtool in order to use the cheat. You can access a lot of good option, my favorite being the EXP multiply by 100 so instant full level. Or the item tab where you can add any item on your save like the crafting component for the last quest of the game or the seed.
Be carefull because mtool is really heavy so if you play with joiplay it's probably not the best thing to try. The tool can crash easily if you spam enter after a fight where you get a lot of new ability. For me the most usefull and easy to use is the item addition. The other options are processor heavy so take your risk with them.

Hey! I'm curious how damage is calculated.
For example. if "Knife throw" skill says 144%(Atk+Dex) Does it mean that it uses 2 stats (and not just whichever one is bigger)? Does it mean that some of the cheaper skills like Scratch that deal 228% (Atk+Agi, cost 1 sp to use) can deal more\same damage as 2 sp skill like Bite 480%(Atk), depending on your stats?
What about normal attacks - they don't write damage formula for them, how are they calculated?

On an unrelated note: what is "self-evade attacks"? (the property of ninja swords and boomerang-type weapons).

• Throwing Skill Self-Evade Attacks (Evasion +50%; Magic Evasion +30%)

Does it mean you get +50% evasion or something?

If you didn't picked a game folder by someone like me who already finished the story and triggered the 2 end of route cut scene you can only do the chaos route after you did both other routes.
There is no content that is exclusive to one route that you can't find during chaos route but some content could be harder to find during chaos route than during the normal route. The most obvious one are the angel gate and the super weapon monster.
The Sabassa shadow are also something you can miss and you can find one of them on both route. But during chaos route you can find them during a big event linked to sabassa.
Again most of the thing you can miss can be found on chaos route. For the race and job unlock item you can find them inside Monte carlo inside a tent on the bottom right side.

Second one, that's just part of the ending, no biggie. I'm still a little mystified by what it means myself.

Oh. I didn't even know the third choice isn't really pickable at the point that my save is at. I did download from someone here with their save but I just removed it and replaced with mine cause I'd like to actually play the game. xD

You can always choose the third way, you just get a bad end if you aren't actually ready for the route. Given how huge the spike in enemy stats is, that's a mercy.

For the 2nd part it's true only if you didn't pick the version played by someone else. I discovered that there is a trigger somewhere that follow if you already did both route so the chaos route open for you, but this trigger is not inside the save, it's inside the game data. So even if I delete my save folder you can access the chaos route directly.

Yeah, I was assuming one wasn't playing off of another player's save or anything.
You can still manually get the bad end anyways - which I think is actually somewhat important since it reveals something that's only implied otherwise iirc.

Is there a way to reset the stats of all the characters I've recruited in one go instead of having to go to the Reaper and reset my party members one-by-one, switch out the party members, then go back to the Reaper and do it again one-by-one? Even with the updated Cheese mod, it's still an extremely tedious process.

Or does anyone have a save where all the party members are freshly recruited with the third route completed?
