try to remember what you changed since yesterday when thing worked and maybe try to change thing back and see.
The bug happen every fight or only on some fight ?
I think it's every fight but it's random. Sometimes it doesn't happen for a while and I get to kill the enemies before anything happens. The thing is a loaded up a save from yesterday and I think I still got the error. Maybe it's something in the config file idk so ill reset my settings and take off all my gear and see if anything changes.
Edit: I still don't know what the issue is but it seems avoidable if I don't hold the skip button during combat. I had a similar problem one time when holding skip while giving gifts too fast that also caused crashes but that went away randomly at some point.

This is a good guide but I'm having trouble with the BF Goddess quest. maybe its the translation of the name of the four heavenly kings; High Priest Noah? I can't find any bf in the pocket castle named Noah.

is there a thread or document to keep track of the progress of the translations without having to ask here every couple of months?

They mean Noah the priest girl in the illas temple where you change jobs, she can be brought into to pocket castle and she is your target.
The move oracle/gambler move "gem slots" seems to be broken too because instead of saying what gems I get it gives me stuff like "ii[3653]". It's also an issue on the human translation too because the bomb slime has a chance of giving you some item like "ii[39]" or something akin to that. It's making it difficult to know if I'm getting anything good.

When I use the patcher from bitbucket, with the Translation files from the repository, this happens. Any suggestions?

It seems to happen semi consistently and holding the skip button seems to make it happen more but it happens even without that. Do you know where I can find the bob discord or whatever to check if there's an updated version? I've been testing the base game with the human translation patch and it seems the bug doesn't occur at all it's just a problem with bob's. If you know where to find bob's patcher or whatever I can probably just apply it and fix it.

Edit: It didn't work but I think I found the problem. The yellow gem "hyper gem of growth" that gives 2 times xp causes these issues. If you just unslot the gem it seems to work fine so far. I'd appreciate it if others using bob's tl could test it to see if they get similar problems using the gem. One way to trigger the crash is to have the gem slotted and battle the sarlacc girl and defend on the first turn. The game should crash as soon as the sarlacc girl's turn starts. It's almost certainly a problem with bob's tl because I don't think I had this error when using the unpatched game or the game patched with the human translation on ver 3.04 bobs tl 4.00.
Side note when I tried to patch the game with bob's tl for some reason the menu says it's version 3.02 and the crash message also said that too so I'm not sure what I did wrong considering I patched it over a version 3.04 game.

so does special booster boost sorcery? seems strange otherwise. Like they had an idea for a special skill job but couldn't think of anything so they shoved it with sorcery.
And while I'm on the subject of sorcery Sword of the Monster Lord Slayer is a weird skill. +150% to Blind/Digestion/Trance/Bind makes no sense on it. This is supposed to be Marcellus's skill and he wouldn't be causing these effects. I gave it a pass before since it was early sorcery but they could have and should have updated it. Something like +150% to stun/silence would make more sense to me. Stun since while this came out before preemptive blade I wouldn't be surprised if the ability was already developed and silence since most monster lords us magic and a silenced monster lord would be more of a sitting duck.

There is a separate Booster for Sorcery. Special Booster will only boost Special skills (niche stuff I know).
sweet, thanks. I think I'll wait for the human translation but i might try out the mtl some time.
