im trying to patch the new 3,05 but im running into an error and it just stops after and im not sure what to do to fix this

you should probably try using the version 3.04 with the mtl.
The one in the first page is the version 3.01 with part 1-2 merged inside but the merge was pretty early at the point of the edit of the OP, so some bug like this could have happen.
So take the version here

mhhh it's strange that it's happening. It happen in all the town or with some NPC only ? Only on this town ?
No real idea why this thing could be happening and you are the first asking for this so it's probably on your side or something that is really minor.
You can use mtool to go around this town if it's the only town that bug but I don't recommand using mtool after that because the game become slow with mtool and can crash. But yeah it could be a workaround.

Is there any way to tell which monsters I am still missing as companions? I beat the game and I see I am still missing quite a few judging by the "Library" but I'm not sure how to know which monsters and where...

Best way would be to just have a list and compare with your library, but monsters are mostly grouped by area so go to the areas of the surrounding library entries and do a bunch of encounters. The ones you missed might have been the rare ones because there are a few uncommon encounters Girls should have blue names if they haven't been recruited.

Jobs/Races Unlocker to V2.41

I made a simple modification to the game, I decided to share it here if anyone is also interested.

this will unlock some Races and Jobs that would only be available in part 3 of the game

* Some Races are locked for being incomplete, Like Chaos and Archfiend

** the mod just removes the need for Job/Race Change key Items, you will still need to do the prerequisites for Jobs /races, for example for Magus King, you will still need to master Sage and King

*** I don't know if this could conflict with files from the future part 3, but personally I find it difficult to happen, because even returning the backup file, nothing is broken, but the Jobs/races are still unlocked if you save with them unlocked

just put the "Classes" file in the DATA folder of the game ("Classes-BKP" file is a backup of the original file)

this will unlock the Jobs: Goddess' Apostle, Corrupted Hero, Cosmic Magus and Magus King

and the Races: Sphinx, Queen Succubus, Queen Vampire, Queen Mermaid, Queen Elf, Queen Fairy, Queen Slime, Nine-Tailed Kitsune, Queen Lamia, Queen Scylla, Queen Harpy, Queen Insect, Queen Alraune, Seraph and Fallen Angel

I'm using self-patched 3.05 version of the game and I crash every time I loose battle to the seduction scene (or however that thing called - the one when the enemy is below 50%).
Has anyone else encountered similar problem?
I've tried to transfer save to bob's mtl 3.04 and I do not get this crash.
So now I'm not sure if I've fucked up the patching or if it is a 3.05 issue.

that's why i said 3.05 is full of bugs and torotoro was going to update 3.06 with the bugs fix in other words play at your own risk

Where can I ask for an update on CHEESEing stuff? I kinda don't really like to grind that much, so I use it to increase my gold and EXP via seeds, as well as swap jobs after I master them.

Ho yeah the cheese is totaly broken. I added it because someone asked for it in order to change thing in the data. If you only want cheat like seed and xp you should use mtool. It's way better for this.

While the MTL is good enough to play and get the story (the main draw for me, at least), what broke the game was an official update anyways.

That's what I'm doing now! Tho' Mtool is quite slow it still works good enough haha.
