I don't understan the quest system here. I take the characters to the correct location, win the battle, still fail.
Did you tried to read text on the screen?
When you bring certain character to the certain location: mission text is changed from just surviving X turns to surviving X turns and completing objective.
Sometimes you need to be near the special tile (shrine\tree) several turns, sometimes you need to defeat the special monster and sometimes you need to visit special tiles (or triggering visiting them by pushing yourself\enemies on them).
I see that now, but some of the instructions are really vague. "Protect" for example, you'd assume it means to not let them die or get hit. And "Disarm", my first instinct is to attack the mines but it does no damage and by walking into them the fight becomes very difficult. And since there's no redo...
A lot of moves can be used to reposition enemies, especially item moves. Easiest way to complete the quest is to use the enemies to set off the mines.

I'm honestly pissed that I spent an hour fucking around with the Assembly-CSharp just to unlock the damn gallery button, and then having to use code from the Game Over(beating the game) so that the game will actually make a gallery.sav with scenes unlocked. Through the use of Notepad++ and dnSpy, despite my absolute lack of background in coding and not understanding a single bit of the code itself, I managed to unlock the gallery and all scenes for both male and female protagonists, without ever actually beating the game.
I'll take your applause now, as I wallow in sorrow at what boredom brings me to do. The fact that I did this for v0.3a and will have to download v0.3b just in case there's a scene or two that was added, and then edit my save file again, truly brings me pain. Should've updated first.
Anyways, I made it so clicking the Credits button on the main menu updates the Gallery.sav file without having to beat the game, allowing for an edit of world.sav and flicking every scenePlayed or whatever variable from false to true to unlock everything.
Really don't know why I bothered doing this for this game. Will upload Gallery file later after I fuck with the new version.
Edit: so good thing, nothing new in v0.3b that I saw, so just take my gallery save and fuck off. Also the Assembly-CSharp is important cause it unlocks the gallery button on the main menu even if you didn't beat the game.
Doesn't have the Credits-Force-Gallery-Save thing cause I only needed that to actually get my fully unlocked gallery save, which I am now giving to you. Will be useful for unlocking it in later versions though, and now that I know how to do it I can get it done pretty quickly, editing my save would take the most time.

How did you get the animated sprites? I've been trying to figure out how to extract those sprites.
Its not in the current build, duuuh. I've DL'ed the sprites, while I've got the access to it, but not anymore (I've checked). I still have few spritesheets that I didn't posted here. But its like dwarf girl in bikini, several half animated sprites and some tavern speaking sprites.

Well sorta, you can say some of the girls are love interests, eg the male MC has a childhood friend as his starting companion, but no one's in an actual relationship
