Anyway, I decided I won't be funding any translation efforts until after game is done.

Just as an interesting aside, a translator contacted me a couple of days ago and quoted me a rate of $0.03 per word. So I had to check the word count in the game, and it's at 60850 words. That's about 130 pages in 3.5 releases. I shudder to think where it'll be at game completion.

Understandable. My point is elsewhere. I just dont like unfinished products. For example am waiting 14 years on release of Winds of Winter. Same goes with Kingkiller Chronicles same story same innerchest pain in waiting on final book. Simple, if you have finished product, name a price and if i like it, i will buy it.
I just dont want Suzie to be stuck in washing machine for eternity.
Because some developer got a better job or a kid or one in a milion people illness.

Not a player, but just chiming in. Yes, you are absolutely correct here. Bad animations are worse than still images. It needs to have speed, energy, and dynamism. And they're an incredible amount of work, so doing them yourself can be a dev trap. Glad to see you're already on the right track here, don't let needy fans persuade you otherwise.

Thats also just plain wrong, webnovels exist, and not since yesterday, and those do get release per chapter and people often support those authors too, so... xD
