Hey
BananaCreamGames, just want to report that the Linux build of the latest update (0.5), and likely the Android build as well, has a severe memory leak. It occurs whenever an animation starts playing and stops once the scene the animation is playing ends. If multiple animations play at once, the leak compounds. This is especially noticeable in the Ferris-wheel scene with Anon and Cee, and the boat scene with Anon and Suzie. The issue does
not appear in the Windows version. I tested that via

, and while the Windows build still uses a fair amount of RAM during animations, it doesn’t leak memory. If I were to take a guess, it seems the problems may be with Ren’Py itself or with whatever library/dependency is handling the animations.
Below is a video demonstrating the memory leak in the native Linux version, and one showing that the Windows build is unaffected. I also attached the logs for both versions. Let me know if I can provide any additional info for troubleshooting.
