Banana nailed it - it really does come down to personal preference. If I had to point to the main reason I lean toward ML, it's because I tend to prefer more "grounded" stories. A few pages back, I actually gave Banana a bit of critique for the first scene with Drago's mom - it felt more like something out of a porn story than erotica to me. Personally, I find that good writing can spark my imagination without needing much of a scene at all. Even something simple can work great - I realized that while playing Rhode's Fortress the other day (what a game! right up until that infamous scene...) That said, I get that not everyone values groundedness as much as I do - you can definitely see that in the reviews for a lot of games around here.Hahahaha, pretty much! Even though BCG uses the same animator I use for the animations, but I do agree tbh. Moonripple is just on another level entirely, but that's fine. it just shows there's still a lot of things I can do to improve!![]()
I want to tell you, when I played your 5th chapter, I really liked it, the best chapter of all the parts, you have a lot of epic and passions, everything was very good, it's just a pity when the main character's girl fell on all fours with her panties down with her pussy exposed, I would like to see at that moment how the black guy pounced on her hungry and wet pussy and started fucking her, and the main character started watching and also started fucking the girl who was being fucked by the black guy started jumping on ms I'm really looking forward to your 6th chapter to play it.If you stop being nice, I'll stop being modest
i think it'd be a bit distracting if the girls are voiced. silas sounds great but ai voices always have at least that 1% uncanny valley feeling. the girls are a big part, so there will be more lines and more chances for us to hear that uncanny voiceWhy not voice the girls? Are you waiting for real VAs?
nah dude, soa is fire too. beach update was pretty goatedIf you stop being nice, I'll stop being modest
No wonder my phone started lagging during the ferris wheel scene.Hey BananaCreamGames, just want to report that the Linux build of the latest update (0.5), and likely the Android build as well, has a severe memory leak. It occurs whenever an animation starts playing and stops once the scene the animation is playing ends. If multiple animations play at once, the leak compounds. This is especially noticeable in the Ferris-wheel scene with Anon and Cee, and the boat scene with Anon and Suzie. The issue does not appear in the Windows version. I tested that viaYou must be registered to see the links, and while the Windows build still uses a fair amount of RAM during animations, it doesn’t leak memory. If I were to take a guess, it seems the problems may be with Ren’Py itself or with whatever library/dependency is handling the animations.
Below is a video demonstrating the memory leak in the native Linux version, and one showing that the Windows build is unaffected. I also attached the logs for both versions. Let me know if I can provide any additional info for troubleshooting.
I’m not as savvy as you with the reason why but I can say that on the boat scene and on the Ferris wheel the game just crashes. I’m playing the android version thst PT ports posted here. I have gotten through a few of them but it crashes 5 or 6 times. I’ve found if I hit skip right when the animation happens sooner or later I can get through but it’s extremely frustratingHey BananaCreamGames, just want to report that the Linux build of the latest update (0.5), and likely the Android build as well, has a severe memory leak. I support him on patreon too. This game is one of my favorites and I don’t mind giving a few bucks to someone I think are doing a good job. Hopefully this gets fixed when the developer pushes out his android version. Ive download other games PT ports has done and never encountered this problemTo both of these posts, yep I posted on here and discord about these problems and BCG has already addressed this, so now we wait for his version of the android port so hopefully it'll be fixed for us Android users, I support BCG when I'm financially able to do so (sometimes not as much as I'd love to) and I know he will come through for us like he usually does.... patients my brothers of culture...
Also I wanna say thx to PT Ports for the try, I'm sure it wasn't easy to give it a go. But the port, because of the heavy image on image on images must not have let it work for us Android users sadly, but thank you for trying to help out.
True but maybe it was a fluke, we'll pray it's fixed and we can enjoy the actionI support him on patreon too. Ok we got it you got the PC master Race club with your RTX4090 and 64GB of ram with a 1TB SSD
The sad state of unfinished games now with less bang for your buck is all because of people not complaining and buying those piece of shit games that are going to cost 80$ minimum and even got Nintendo to do it since why bother if the consumer going to buy it anyway.
Now LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING game optimization is the bread and butter of a great developer, if he can't fit the dam thing to work on a 4gb laptop that is running low specs it will bloat the game in the long run and eventually those bad habits to not find creative solutions to run at a stable 30 fps will only lead to make even the RTX 4060 to not work well. You got that, dev needs to suffer and optimize his game to reach a lot of people.
Now shove that RTX card where the sun don't shine and quit that lord attitude on other console peasants.
Now I'm excited because I liked this game and I want to keep playing it.I usually do scenes in 1440p at the least. People have complained a lot about game lag and I'll start doing 1080p eventually shouldn't impact fidelity much but greatly improve performance.
Shouldnt happen but you can start a new game set your name, then load up your old saves
I hope so because I liked the game and its supernatural and mysterious element.I do understand what you're saying I wasn't trying to say you were wrong or anything. But I was just pointing out that BCG hasn't dropped his own android or Mac ports, which are usually great and don't mess up, so we'll just wait for those links
"Impoverished losers".....wow.....well Nick Herr born in 69 im assuming, you have your opinion, but can you not try and put others down when we're all trying to enjoy this game together? It doesn't matter what device someone is playing it on, we all have questions for the dev and BCG is nice enough to actually answer as much as he can (unlike other devs). And if something isn't working right shouldn't that person ask for help so they can enjoy the same quality game you're enjoying?....let's not try and feel entitled here ok?
