This Droid dev has some cult followers here. No matter how illogical and mismatch some things are, there they always get behind it. Never have ever thought anyone would find angels armed with Katana logical and argue for this dumb choice.

And what mystical knowledge do you possess that you know precisely what swords angels use? And who's to say that whatever sword they used in the beginning, they haven't changed? In the early days of guns, people used flintlocks. As times changed, so did guns, and so did what people used. Should we still be using flintlocks despite modern rifles and automatic weapons? Maybe they originally used Egyptian khopesh swords....who the hell knows.

And it has nothing (primarily) to do with "cult followers"...people enjoy the story for what it is. And I also don't know what's so dumb about the choice...a lot of people prefer the katana over the longsword.

What it boils down to is either enjoy the game or don't...but don't feel the need to spout stupidity all over the forum. Take some Imodium for your diarrhea of the mouth and then take a chill pill.

Wow! Where should I start??? Cult followers??? I would tend to say, people who know how to enjoy a good, well written story, with charcters you can care about, and females without 88 GGG boobs.

If you want "logical", I suggest watching the best of Spock.

As to the katanas... The angel has lived thru many eras, and been to earth several times. I find it completely logical for her to choose a weapon she most likely has used before, and is both comfortable, and highly proficient with. Not everyone can run around town with a minigun from an A10. Still not sure how Greg worked the pneumatic system? OY! Illogical!!! I didn't see a hose coming out of his butt!!!!

After that it's epilogue time, and then the game is done Enroute for 11/11 unless anything goes terribly wrong.

And even if you're gonna start the next Game at once - it will probably take more than... 2 weeks ? to finish. That's too long.
I am going to plead for a miracle with my favorite (Katana swinging?) Angel and going to wish for an instantanious next Game. And of course after that directly the next. And the next....

After Morningstar, I'll finish up book 2 NG+, and then onto the next project. New characters, a new world, and a new story.

I've got NG+ for Book 2 and 3 to do, so it's not like I'm having to say goodbye to Emily, Katie, Molly, Bella and the rest just yet.

But it's a little emotional, writing the final date with Emily in Morningstar, which is what i'm doing right now.
